About Us

Play & Learn is a school located at 200 Camp Hill Road in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, United States. Our institution believes that play is the key to young children's learning. We offer challenging and fun play environments that help children develop both their IQ and EQ. Our experienced teachers are dedicated to creating a dynamic and developmentally appropriate learning environment that expands children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and motor abilities.
We cater to children from 6 weeks to school-age, and we believe that when children learn through play, they learn for life. Play & Learn is the largest non-profit childcare and early education organization in Montgomery County, serving over 1500 families since 1981. We also provide management services to other non-profit childcare organizations and partner with Jefferson Health to provide childcare for their employees.
Our institution is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and select locations are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We adhere to the highest standards in child-directed education, safety, security, nutrition, and cleanliness. Our preschool and certified preschool programs are aligned with public K-12 school curriculums to prepare children for the transition to a school environment.
We maintain an open-door policy for families and use various communication methods to keep parents informed. If you're interested in seeing what sets us apart from other early learning centers, schedule a tour of any of our locations to meet our qualified staff and see our classrooms and playgrounds. Visit Play & Learn to experience the serious learning that happens through play!

"Extremely great place to send your child. Ms.T is amazing and all of the teachers are interactive!"
"The director is extremely odd. We had trouble communicating with her, very limited responses if any at all. Teachers constantly screamed at children and each other. I witnessed two teachers cursing at each other in front of the children on the playground. They let children watch tv on an iPad in the classroom. My daughter cried hysterically every morning for a month until we pulled her out. By far one of the worst child care centers I’ve ever been to."
"It's an old building But they did a good job"
