"This is a “contracted” VA clinic that is run by Valor Healthcare based in Texas. This is not well advertised, and this company has been investigated and fined numerous times by the VA. There appears to be an absence of oversight and veterans should be aware that should they find themselves the victims of malpractice or even healthcare fraud, that this is a private company with contracted employees and they cannot be sued under the Federal Tort Claims Act. They can however be sued in state malpractice court. Fortunately for the contractor Valor Healthcare, Clarion is a quiet, rural community where nothing bad ever happens and public officials can be influenced to look the other way."
