"I would definitely recommend. I went to a different dentist one time after my pediatric dentist and when I went to my next scheduled appointment they didn’t have a dentist? So I’ve been coming here since and really like it. everyone is very nice and personable and I enjoy talking to basically anyone in there. I honestly enjoy myself when I am there which is rare at a dentist and plan to continue being seen here. Dr. C is awesome and a very kind person. Highly recommend this place to anyone in need of dental care!"
"The only good thing about this appointment was being seen the same day for an emergency. I see the team in the regular clinic and they’ve all been wonderful every time so I expected the same from the dental clinic. I already have a separate appt scheduled for late dec for a more comprehensive exam, I’ve needed dental work done for a while now but I don’t have insurance. I was trying to wait for that but I just couldn’t do it. I had noticeable swelling due to what was clearly an infection, not a ton of pain but still an emergency, I’m not messing ground with any infection. I call around 2, they can get me in between 3 & 5 when they close. Receptionist asks where I live, I’m coming from Latrobe and she says “so you’re about 15-20 min away?” I say yes, confirm today works and all she said was “just get here as soon as you can.” I had to work until 3, I changed my clothes and went straight to the appt. I get there around 3:45, I’m handed a pretty big, very detailed packet of paperwork to fill in upon arrival, trying to get through it quickly. Papers unfinished, Dr. Cuccaro came to the door, calling me back and says bring the papers with me since I’m running way past appt time but felt like they were being nice to get me in short notice. I didn’t think anything of it at the time. Her tone and attitude were awful from the start. She’s going over history etc in the most condescending way, speaking down to me and for someone in such a huge hurry she sure took her time with this. Idk why we’re going over it a second time after I just wrote it all down but the second I told her I was an addict in recovery (10 years) she worsened again. My prior addiction has nothing to do with the current state of my teeth which was explained to her. At the first sight of the inside of my mouth she began talking in such a degrading way, she audibly gasped. That hurt. Points out my top denture, starts poking around my mouth and not in any gentile way, including the source of my problem, bottom right teeth. I’ve obviously dealt with oral surgery if I have an existing top denture but proceeds to speak to me like I’m 5, stupid & ignorant. I’m 30. I’m very much self conscious about my oral health, especially the denture. I sit up and walk to the X-ray, asked to remove my denture which I get but I ask to wash my hands first and I get “no it’s only a minute, you’ll be fine” I’m sorry but what?? I’m visibly upset, shaking and trying not to cry, just wanting this to be over so I comply. Not offered anything to place my denture in for an xray. She didn't tell me to keep it out, tried removing it herself, scratches me so I turn away and remove them myself. At this point I’m crying and have no idea why she’s being so awful with me. Finally, I ask her what her problem is. This is when I finally learn that I was actually scheduled for 3:15, I was technically late. How can I make it on time if I don’t know? Even still, what right does this give her to treat a patient like this?!! She made me feel less than dirt for asking for help. She was horrendous and all i got was “I’m sorry you feel that way” after telling her as calmly as I could how rude she was. She then lied and said a temporary bottom denture was not possible immediately following extractions. She literally said they don’t exist, no dentist does that. That I would have to go 4 months without any bottom teeth?! I know that’s not true, I know people who have gotten immediate dentures. Maybe she doesn’t do them, fine. But do not make that option completely unavailable to me. Idk where the misunderstanding came from with the appt times. I couldn’t even drive myself home I was so upset and had a severe anxiety attack because of dr. Cuccaro and how she treated me. I sat 45 minutes in my car trying to calm down so i could go home. The antibiotics she prescribed have done nothing for the infection and needless to say I will never return to be seen by her again. I’ve had some bad experiences but this took the cake."
"Waited 6 days in pain for an 830 am appointment. The receptionist showed up at 835 on the phone. While I filled out the obscene amount of invasive questions and paperwork the hygienist and the 9am appointment arrived. The 9am was admitted while I filled out paperwork that had no grounds asking the most ridiculous questions about some emergency dental work. I was admitted. Two X-rays. An hour later the dentist, babbled some dental nonsense to me pointing at the xrays, gave me some paperwork told me to make appointment at different dentist."
"Great experiences from Kind & Caring staff ! Always pleasant & treat you like family. Tina, Hannah (MA), Hannah (PA), Dr Vega, Lance (New Ken) Thankful for this service in the community!"
"I thought this clinic would be good due to its lgbtiaq+ inclusivity. Then I got a letter claiming they couldn’t get a hold me via phone, called that same day. Got on with an on call person, they never let anyone know I called. Then it took a month and a week to finally talk to anyone. Never answered my questions, and it essentially forced me to find a new doctor. Would not recommend to my worse enemy."
