"I love living at the collective. They throw a ton of great events for residents that my boyfriend and I love to attend. Tonight we enjoyed ice skating right in Navy Yard. They also just added a Pilates machine to the Park Chelsea gym and it’s awesome!!"

Mel, Robert and Jamal always either solve the problem themselves or locate and return with a specialized technician. They are all patient, pleasant and friendly to work with and are careful in the apartment. I’ve never had such great service."

"Phenomenal place to live! This complex is likely the nicest in D.C. with its the amenities and massive rooftop. Indoor lap pool, three gyms, two rooftop pools, hot tubs, indoor basketball courts, raquetball courts, a golf stimulator, etc. There's a robust monthly social calendar with everything from organized sports to cooking classes. I've never seen this in an apartment building before. Plus it's built over a Whole Foods! The Collective was built in three phases, with Park Chelsea being the oldest, and the Garret being the newest. While parts of Park Chelsea are starting to show their age (ie. the hallways), the building seems proactive about renovations and just upgraded the gym! I've lived in other buildings in D.C. before and WC Smith does a great job managing this one. Maintenance is quick (replaced my cabinet drawer in 24 hours), the staff is great, and great location, equidistant from both the Capitol South and Navy Yard Metros."

"Our maitenance guy (Danny) was courteous, helpful, and incredibly nice! He not only fixed the problem, but showed me what happened and taught me what to do to make sure I never made the same mistake which led to the clog in the first place. Top notch service and extremely grateful for them fixing the sink so quickly!!"

"There are MANY reasons why The Collective is such a great place to live, but most of all is the fantastic amenities and events. Having a full time fitness events manager on staff is so incredible - getting to play basketball, volleyball, pickleball and more with other residents weekly builds so much community and so many friendships. And an awesome annual golf outing - Thank you Adam! He does a great job and Ashley also plans so many fun events. And the view from the complex is absolutely unmatched!!"
