"Cars are broken into a regular basis. My sisters car was broken into twice. They need to make it a gated area. Ridiculous no one is doing anything about it."
"If I could give them a 0, I would. The property management at this place is horrific. There is no security, unaddressed vandalism and crime, maintenance request are not fulfilled and very limited ramps. The parking is the worst. The long-time residence feel they own parking spaces and act like vultures. Some of these seniors don't have cars but want to claim ownership of spaces. Property management suck and they still have not resolved the parking issue. The newer residence has to park in the guest parking even if you are a resident. The long time residents think they own the building and have this attitude of entitlement. I don't care that you lived here since day one, we all pay rent. The newer residents are probably paying more. There is no clear if any direction on anything because the property management is clueless. It's a senior building but it has failed to properly address senior needs. The place lack outside ramps from the parking lot to the door. Residents have to use the hill or take a long walk to bring in bags. All I can say is, do not move your loved ones here. This is a slumlord place. The previous management was Buzzoto which was awful and then they hired this unknown company Potomac. This company clearly has very little property management experience. The only positive thing about this building is the cleaning staff. They do an awesome job keeping the building clean. The property management and maintenance staff SUCK, a solid 0 stars. if you are thinking about moving to this place, please reconsider. I am sharing my experience for the past 2 years. Poor property management that lacks the knowledge and skill to the job, maintenance staff shortage and the few they have can't fix a light bulb, long lead time to fix security and maintenance concerns. Example the parking lot lights went out took them over 4 months to fix. Wash machine stopped working that took over 3 months for a replacement, ongoing plumbing issues in the kitchen sink maintenance said its nothing and it's still making the gurgling noise and water clogging. Major safety concerns in the parking lot, multiple incidents with car break ins, stolen tires and smashed windows for handicap passes, property management lack of communication to residence about the parking lot crime, front door locks are constantly broken, unreliable 24hour maintenance support, unclear parking rules for residents and most important they could care less about the concerns, safety and security of the residence. For that reason, I am out of this ghetto place. Jericho Church should be ashamed of this slumlord building. I was made lots of broken promises from the new management so I could re-new last year. The new management is just as bad as the previous management company. Too many other nicer and better managed apartments to reside. Exercise your options and stay clear of this dump."
"I really like this community. The people are great and the building is very nice. HOWEVER, the parking situation is horrific. I moved here in Nov 2021 and there has been 2 cars on bricks and so many car break ins. There is absolutely no security. They have reserved parking and no one is using them. Its dangerous coming in at night and having to park so far away from the building. There is no sense of comfort for the residence. Management has failed to resolve the parking issue. Its the same talking points, we are working on it. Just today 3/8/2022, 6 cars and still counting were vandalized. Over the weekend another car window was broken. There is absolutely no security. Bozzuto, onsite management nor the namesake Church are doing to provide the residence comfort. Are they waiting for someone to get seriously hurt or loss of life before they put some type of security in place. This is just awful and I hate to write this review but I also feel compelled to get out the truth. Bozzuto, Jericho take action and come up with a real plan. This is a BIG Issue and management has not communicated to the residence a plan."
"Caring for a loved one, especially one who is considered a senior citizen, can sometimes be a logistical nightmare but there are times it can be a smooth experience when there is compassion and bedside manner shown. It’s apparent the Property Manager at Jericho Residences, Donminique M., couldn’t care less about being a nightmare or compassionate. Comparatively speaking, Jericho’s low-star google reviews are in-line with Domonique’s subpar acumen. On the morning of Friday December 2nd, 2022, I reached out to Jericho Residences to schedule an appointment to tour a 3-bedroom apartment. I was informed there were no 3-bedroom apartments to view however, I would be able to view a 2-bedroom instead, to which I obliged. I was scheduled for an appointment at 3pm on Monday, December 5th, 2022. I explained it would be me, traveling from New York, and my father viewing the apartment. Unfortunately, due to a major accident on the highway, I was not able to make the 3pm appointment and notified Jericho Residences at 2:52 pm of the delay. I stated I would arrive by 3:30pm and was informed the property manager would still be available for my appointment. Once I arrived, I provided my name and was guided to take a seat. Donminique M. finally greeted me at 3:50pm to inform me she didn’t have any appointments scheduled for 3pm and she’d be promptly taking her 1-hour lunch break. I asked if someone else could show me the apartment and she quickly responded with a stark, “No!”. Donminique proceeded to hand me a packet and before I could state I already had one, she walked away. My father and I sat waiting for Domonique’s return so we could view the apartment. Ten minutes later at 4pm, Donminique came out of her office to ask if I would like to reschedule. I informed her I couldn’t due to travel obligations but offered to do a modified, version of the tour and she stated, since her next appointment was at 4:30pm (30 minutes later), it wasn’t possible. I even asked if she were able to combine our tour with the next tour, and I was met with yet another stark “No!” I understand class nor tact are prerequisites to be a Property Manager, but I do think it’s very safe to assume being a problem-solving professional is a requirement. It’s evident, Donmonique’s actions were classless and insensitive .I do hope, for their sake, the tenants at Jericho Residence are treated far better than the experience my father and I had."
"Went on a tour of Jericho last year. The apartments look nice. Especially the two bedrooms. I called numerous times and left voice-mails about questions I had. I never received a return call. Also, why a short window for applying in advance?"
