The Landings II Apartments

"I have this issue with insects for about 2 weeks now. I reported 3 times, didn’t get any resolution, I’ve attached a picture showing insects crawling on the wall outside my apartment window which might indicate a huge insect nest and it’s also coming in my room I don’t now how. Management needs to send pest control to address this issue asap."

"If Zero stars was an options that would be the rating. Let me start with stating I moved into this complex in 2018 while it was under management by a different property / leasing owner and there were no complaints, It was a clean, quiet and well kept community until the current owners took over. Everything being reported is true, the garbage, the broken doors and lights, no regular apartment maintenance, the homeless people sleeping in the gym and laundry room. It is a free-for- all here and it's sad because that was simply not the case prior to its new management. the most recent incident involved a man walking around with a machete in the parking lot. When tenants complain the only response is send an email to leasing and call 911. No one actually addresses any of the issues nor do they care to. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, most of them are made by individuals who lived in the properties back when it was called Haven Fort Belvoir. Not the Landings. This property and it's tenants have all but been abandoned and no one is willing to do anything about it. Front doors are constantly broken,. roach and mice are infesting the building, dumpster over flowing, the maintenance team tries to keep up but they are at the whim of the the leasing team whom are never at the property. All they do is apologize and provide some false promise that things will get better, to which it hasn't because they only care for the Landing's1 property and litter leave Landings 2 to fend for itself."

"I have lived here a month and the staff are awesome. The maintenace workers are quick to get a issue taken care of. My a..c. broke over a weekend and they were in my apartment immediately and brought a portable a.c. until the part came in the following business day. Antwon went above and beyond to take me to get my car when my car was towed, when I had a rental car and I forgot to put the parking pass in my window. He did not have to but heard the problem and immediately took me to get it. He is caring,friendly and respectful when he sees me. I love my home and appreciate the locked door into the apartment building. Yes, it's a older building but, for the price it's just right for me."

"My experience was horrible. Read everything you sign and/or check during the application process. The reservation fee is $100 it goes toward your 1st month and if you don’t continue with the process it’s non-refundable. Once you are approved the method of payment used for the application, they will use again for the reservation fee without notice. I lost $154.50 with these people upfront. I was never a resident. Was this fair to anyone?"

"Absolutely awful. The worst place you could possibly live. Bug infested, you literally have bees outside your car waiting on you. ZERO maintenance, they will come weeks after you call an issue in. If they come immediately, they rarely ever fix it. Sometimes they'll fix one thing and not the next. The former name was Canterbury Square, look up that for more reviews. Absolutely hate this place, very unprofessional. They shut down the water literally almost every two weeks without notice. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Please find another apartment if you can."
