The Woods of Marlton Apartments

"I am a new resident at Woods of Marlton and am so far having a very unsatisfactory experience. Let’s start with Joseph who helped me from start to finish to get my unit. I applied and was approved for my unit months in advance before my Nov 1st move in and was consistently reaching out to get updates as I was told my unit was being upgraded. Joseph was not completely transparent with me about the process and I didn’t find out until 5 pm the DAY BEFORE MOVE IN that the unit was not going to be ready on the agreed move in date. I was told I could come look at the unit and do my walk through before moving in the next day only to arrive and see a completely GUTTED apartment that in no way was going to be ready for me the following day. I had already hired movers, gave move out notice where I was currently staying and set up utilities at that unit and no one was going to tell me it wasn’t ready had I not called for my walk through. At that point I informed Joseph this was treading a very dangerous legal line and that it needed to be made right immediately. After conferring with management I was assigned a new unit that still didn’t look 100 percent but looked miles better than my original unit and I was assured the things wrong with the new unit would be addressed shortly after move in. Fast forward to now it’s been about three weeks and significant issues continue to fall through the cracks. For example many outlets in the unit don’t have electricity, one of my showers wasn’t caulked properly so water runs out of the side causing flooding, and speaking of water, hot water? Barely seen it. My unit consistently loses hot water, I’m talking take a two minute shower or it will be an ice bath or choose between using hot water for cooking or a hot shower for the night because you can’t have both. Now let me say I like the area and chose to move to this complex because It appeared to be a much better option crime wise compared to other parts of PG, but I cannot say this has been a good experience knowing that staff knows all these things are occurring plus things I haven’t mentioned here and no sense of urgency has been used to address these issues."

"When I first moved to Woods of Marlton it was hard to get in contact with anyone in the leasing office, maintenance was months behind on service requests, and trash was seen all over the parking lot. Since Ms. Barnes (the new property manager) has started every email that I have sent has been answered, my maintenance requests have been completed, and the trash is cleaned up. Things are changing for the better thanks to Ms. Barnes and her staff."

"I’m a resident at the Woods of Marlton and have been for the past 6 months. Overall it has been a pleasant experience. I’m able to contact or go to leasing office and receive help or assistance with any issues I’m having. I’ve always received help from Joseph in the front office who has been professional and welcoming."

"I moved here a month ago Place and surroundings are beautiful and well maintained, clean and great neighbors. Had a few problems in which I contacted office and emergency after work hours and received attention back quickly. Employers are really here to help and reach the goal to complete claims and problems."
