Reviews of Fleetwood Village Apartments
"Currently a tenant. I was goin to wait til after I left to give a bad review but i can't wait. Issue after issue. Im just gonna say todays problem. I'll probably just add to it each day. Today it's 37 degrees out side our heat has been off for the last few days and inside feels like 25 degrees. Why is it freezing inside. No personal heater can make it warm inside. Im Currently sitting in my car because it's warmer in it even without my heat on. If you think you'll be able to control your own heating you can't. They put it on when they want to and pump as much as they feel like it. Living here each time I've decided to go to the rental office no one would be there. Need help or have questions don't expect to find answers at the rental office. Haven't been here a year yet and they've had inconveniently shut off the water last minute with an email notice no more than hour before about 5+ times. Emergency 24 hour mantinence does not answer the phone."
"Overrun with rats. Regularly see rats during daylight hours. Huge problem! Update: They seem to now be working to get it under control. Hope they continue to do so."
"I’m not sure where all these positive reviews are coming from but my partner and I went for a tour last week and we couldn’t leave fast enough. First of all, the leasing agent wasn’t there we were given a tour by a maintenance worker… which was fine she did a great job showing us the unit and explaining a few things but she obviously knew nothing about the application process which who can blame her? Second, the minute we walked into the building we were hit with the smell of human urine and sewage… I’m pregnant and trying not to gag or vomit was incredibly hard it just smelt unsanitary and after I asked my partner if he smelt it (thinking it was just my pregnancy nose) he said he had to start breathing out of his mouth to avoid gagging! Lastly, as we walked out of the main entrance there was a HOMELESS MAN LIVING UNDER THE STAIRS!! There’s no security to enter the building and this man had obviously been there for a while he literally had all of his things comfortably situated. The whole complex just seemed disgusting and for the rent they’re asking for it’s clear they don’t care about the actual living conditions just the money."
"Currently living here. Here are some pros and cons before you are making decision. First of all, I will start with good things. Maintenance and customer services are pretty good. This is a old apartment community, so you know what to expect. Trash are thrown away on the street, on the sidewalk and staircase. They try to keep up with the cleanliness of the area EVERYDAY. Grass is cut very often here. Bad things: Children and teenagers can be very noisy. I reported a couple of times to the office. Frequency is down, but it still happens periodically. Children horse-played with fire alarms twice in May around 10pm. (507 Greenlawn Drive). Office is open 7 days a week, except some holidays. Customer service is pretty good from Monday to Friday. However, do not go to the office on the weekend. The teenager sat in the office on the weekend is very unknowledgeable, and his customer service can be rated as ZERO. You can get better customer service from McDonald's literally. This apartment complex has very serious SECURITY issue. People and children can be quite nosy here. I would not let Amazon delivers packages to my door. Period. My car was vandalized twice within 6 months time frame (January 2019 to July 4th 2019). Five vehicles were broken into around midnight of 3rd of July. There are some security cameras set up only for where the leasing office is. I will update the review if there are some major improvements, mainly security. Stay tuned."
"I lived here for 10 years, had mice problems for the first year but they took care or it.The problem is the price they want for those apartments isn't realistic. At best you should only pay $700 for one bedroom,$895 for two bedrooms.Thats it.Some of the buildings are kept up better than others but thats for the neighbors to report.I liked it here but I had to move, they want to much money now."
