"I am so thankful to have Teddy as a member of the Central maintenance team. He is so prompt, and always does such an amazing job. He completed three different tickets in my unit - and it was clear he had to go above and beyond his normal duties to fix one of the things. Even when Teddy is not completing a ticket, seeing him on the property is always a pleasure."
"Recently moved in. Are is spacious and clean! Can never hear neighbor noise and has a great view. Amenities are a great bonus and there is 24 hour front desk staff that can answer any questions."
"Just moved in. A business is a business. The job of the front office is to entice people to move in and put the best foot forward. Amenities sell! Another fact in business is to never admit fault as it can be used against you in court. This is not rocket science. What is also true is that as a tenant, it’s ok to have an expectation and to provide understanding if there is imperfection. I received 2 papers from the facility at move in. One paper stated to inspect the home within 24 hours and the other said 48 hours. I handed in the paper that said to inspect within 24 hours and took a photo of it and then kept the paper that had 48 hours on it. This is the first incongruent issue. After turning in the paper there were many things that were wrong in the apartment mostly the uncleanliness of it(see toilet photo). I have many other photos and video, but this speaks to care of the move in inspection done by management. It’s easy to forgive an error or over site if that is what happened. “I’m sorry and I’ll get it fixed right away”. This works in customer service. The response of this “probably happened” or there was “radon testing done which could have been the issue” is a fool’s conversation. I moved here for a pleasant experience. I’m sure this will happen as I love SS. The opening remarks from management thus far have not been welcoming or transparent. The good news? Now we can both understand each other on a business level. Better to know early in tenancy rather than figuring it out later. Who knew a toilet could speak a thousand words? I’m looking forward to reviewing again in 6 months and optimistic that more stars will be added. First impressions can always change."
"Love this place. Never any real issues, and the couple times I needed maintenance they showed up within an hour. Teddy is friendly, communicative, and has fixed issues with the A/C and dishwasher promptly. Concierge is super friendly and helpful too!"
"The building has a great location and looks very nice when you first walk in. However, this is by far the most poorly managed building I’ve ever lived in. The garage is claimed to be 8 ft tall, but it’s barely over 6 in many areas (see pictures). The leasing office employees tend to park right up front taking the prime spots—I wonder if they pay the same parking fees as the residents do—while the residents have to figure out unassigned parking on the lower levels. The building claims to be Leed certified, but they don’t even compost. Insulation is terrible and you have to waste money and energy (not eco friendly) to cool off even when it’s cold outside. Some of the rooms that they advertise as bedrooms don’t have windows, which is against architectural standards for living spaces. And check out a picture of their “amazing” and definitely “eco-friendly” swimming pool! I should probably complain to Leed about this stuff. The units are filled with the cheapest appliances and materials that exist on the market. The floor is not even laminate. It’s a vinyl sticker! The freezer is so cheap that it doesn’t have stoppers for the shelves. You pull on a drawer, and all your stuff falls on the floor. The dishwasher doesn’t rinse your dishes. You have to sign a waiver to get hot water in your own apartment! The temperature for the water is set up as 120 maximum. And your own heater is set up to not go colder than 75, and not hotter than 78—you have to file a maintenance request to adjust it. The concierge staff is very friendly, but honestly not very useful. For example there’s a printer and a coffee machine in a common space, and they are never filled with supplies (paper/water). Each time I needed to use one, I had to ask and wait for concierge to fill it up. And finally their web services (a rent payment system) never work! Not even once was I able to successfully pay my bills without having to alert management about online system mistakes. If you read till this point you may guess that I don’t recommend this building in its current management condition. It was a work related move for myself, so I’ll definitely make sure to spread the word to other employees to stay away from Bozzuto services."
