"New management and family member have apt in very unsanitary conditions. They 90% of the time never fix anything. Have holes from mice coming thru walls of other apts, roaches invade kitchen at night. Mold on carpet after wet rug from waterheater broke. Horrible place to live."

"Definition of “Slum Lords” I have lived here for 6 months and absolutely hate it. It’s a dirty community, the house is run down, and maintenance doesn’t even show up when you call. It took two months to get my air conditioning fixed. I have had mold in my living room for months and nobody has come to look at it. My ceiling leaks and again nobody has even come to look at it. To make all this even worse no matter how clean your house is it will be mouse and roach infested. I have been calling about an exterminator since I moved in and yet again nobody has yet to come. Please save your money and move somewhere else. This might as well be the projects."

"I lived at Highland Village from 1996 to 2011. I hardly had any issues with rodents and parking. If i got a rodent, it was once every 5 years seem like. My last year there, i caught 16 mice in 1 year. i hated the waterbug issue - they are gross and end up any and everywhere. I didn't have many roach problems but I would see them here and there. I ended up buying my own home. I am sadden to hear such awful things going on. Was going to refer a few friends there, but refuse to accept the charge of sending someone to a place that went downhill."

"Do not ever subject yourself to this place. Whatever your circumstance. Figure something else out. I am a clean person, food is never left out, dishes are always clean and put away, everything is kept tidy, however there are Roaches EVERYWHERE. In the bathroom, in the bedrooms, ALL OVER the Kitchen and living room. My car has been towed twice from in front of my door by the same towing company because their half baked parking policy puts residents at maximum risk of having this happen. Once the lease is signed no one in the office cares about you. This place is a nightmare. There have been 2 people killed on my street since I moved in less than a year ago."
