"While this place began to be a very nice community, and had very minimal problems it quickly changed this year and it’s only January. While I know of this complex having multiple, plethora break in attempts and car vandalizations I never experienced myself… until Monday night on January 22, 2024. I came out to my 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale broken into using a computer system. I know this because I use an app to control my doors on top of controlling them physically. I always double lock my car…. Once using the physical key and the other using the app. The app shows me at 7:15PM the door was locked and not touched or unlocked until I pre started my car at 7:53AM when I was walking out for work. Now I didn’t come out to a recked car (Thank Goodness). They stole $1,000 worth of stuff that was hidden in my car and not seen from any view. They also left a chipotle cup in my trunk. The manager of this property is Charisma who is newer to the community. She’s done slim to none to help in the situation and also had the nerve to tell me what car she drove which is the same dealer as mine as if I cared and asked her…. Because we all know if it was her car the matters would’ve been escalated. Well then they wanted me to talk to this “officer” who supposedly lives here. Well the “officer” was working during business hours and have the audacity to come down with NO UNIFORM and didn’t show me his BADGE. As an office I know that’s the first thing they should show, especially without uniform on. He has on an essentials hoodie and sweatpants. (How unprofessional during WORK HOURS). Well he wasn’t help at all either. Other than telling me his life story and trying to accuse me of leaving my car door unlocked he didn’t help. I told him it’s a company car and that the service people currently working on my car told me there was a Breech in the computer system meaning a computer was used to get into my car. Being accused by a police office is insane!!! This man had the nerve. Well I say all this to conclude that Camden college park will be getting their tails served by Chrysler (Stellantis) in a court case. In this situation, they chose the wrong car. This is a complete and Covered company car. Which means that they tampered With $1 billion companies belongings. Maybe this is what they need in order to get their Actually, do the work that they supposedly should’ve been doing this whole time. It’s unfortunate that the company has to take over this, but Chrysler is over them, not doing the work that they claim to do and taking their sweet time So I am here to tell you that if you are looking for an apartment complex, please by all means save your money. $2,000 for an apartment, $100 if you wanted to reserve spot and hundreds of dollars a month for amenities that aren’t included. Which should be included as College Park states is that there should be security and surveillance. But I can tell you right now that there is none of that so please don’t waste your time and save your belongings before you get into a situation like me and have nobody helping you. Well, luckily, I will be getting help because Chrysler is taking care of this and I promise you they will not be leaving empty-handed. To make matters worse, there was three other cars, broken into that same night. Unfortunately, one of the residents said that whoever broke into their car eight and smoked weed in their car. How awful."
"Camdens Maintenance Supervisor (Mr. Sanders) and team dedicated numerous hours to troubleshoot and resolve the issue that was at hand. A new water heater was installed, however it had a defect from the manufacturer. Mr. Sanders swiftly ordered a 2nd water heater unit and had it installed within 24 hours once it was received. Mr. Sanders actively communicated with us daily on the issue until it was resolved. Everytime I have contacted the maintance crew, they have always found a solution. Amazing work gentlemen!"
"This is my 2nd time living here. The 1st experience (2+ years) was good. We had an issue with flood which was quickly fixed. However, upon moving to a larger unit closer to the IKEA street, it was very noisy and we would hear cars racing at 2-3am. This second time around, we chose an unit away from Ikea at the other building and it is more in the quiet side. All of our neighbors seem fine, polite , and friendly (both experiences), maintenance is always professional and prompt, as well as the staff in the leasing office. The gym is very nice, and for the most part (90% of the time) the green areas and common shared areas are well kept. I do feel they used to take better care of the trash rooms and compactors in the past, as compared to now. Also, in the past I did see cars with stolen rims, however, other apartment communities in this area with gated access were having the same issues. Overall, we are happy with Camden hence, why we returned - which has been the best decision for our family until we are able to purchase a home in the future."
"SEVERE lack of communication from the individual who manages this property. They say they don’t have a personal preference, but once my story is heard (and it WILL be heard) you will see different. This person will deem you “hostile” and then proceed to treat you as such until you are no longer a resident. I highly suggest the apartment across the street though. Also, I’d appreciate it if nobody from the office gives me any of those generic responses you have saved up to respond to reviews. You didn’t want to communicate with me before so don’t start now."
"Apartments are nice and front office staff are wonderful to deal with but beware. Things will be stolen. Parking garage doors will brake frequently and be left open 24/7 to anyone and everyone at all times. Multiple car break ins and even tires and rims being stolen. If you value your car do not live here. Camden does not seem to want to hire security at night despite paying thousands in rent every month."
