"If I could have a doctor for life, it would be Dr. Barwell. She was instrumental in my life when I lived in Pgh, and even now as I'm in Texas, I can't help thinking how wonderful she is! Dr. Barwell delivers exceptionally as a doctor. She is incredibly sympathetic, without being condescending. She has an ability to listen without interruption, and when you feel doubtful about yourself for any number of reasons, she's the first to come to your defense. My favorite attribute about her, other than her warmth, knowledge, and non-judgementalism...is the fact that she serves EVERYONE. She offers a program for taking medication to people who are homeless, and I encourage everyone to find out how to do this when you have unused meds. She is an awesome doctor and person."
