"I saw Dr. Brian Goldwasser. I needed a new PCP. I guess because this group is not a UPMC group, they didn’t have access to any of my medical records over the last 10 plus years. What they did have was one emergency room visit from close to 15 years ago which was drug related. I have been in recovery and clean from drugs for more than 10 years. All this doctor could focus on was that one old report. He treated me like I was a using drug addict and just kept questioning me about my drug use and how much I had used even though I said multiple times that I was clean and in recovery for more than 10 years. I finally had to firmly explain that none of that was relevant and then he finally moved on. He Even ran bloodwork and tested me for things that I told him several times I had already been tested for numerous times over the years- I guess he didn’t believe me. He was extremely belittling and did not listen to me. Also, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude. After I called to get results of one of my tests, she was rude over the phone and couldn’t answer any of my questions or pronounce the words she was trying to tell me. When I called back another time for questions relating to an insurance issue, she was also extremely rude again. I will find someone else- PCP’s are a dime a dozen and I don’t need to go to one who treats people badly and who’s staff seems to follow suit!"
