"This shop needs to be shut down. The owner is extremely rude and followed me and my boyfriend around. She made up her own prices and overcharged me. Also handed her my ID and she didn’t even glance at it, but then proceeded to ask in a very demeaning tone how old I was, while my ID was right in front of her. I think she was trying to see if I had a fake when my ID was 100% authentic and place right in front of her. She ignored when I asked her questions and rushed me. I truly don’t know how she gets any business, but then I realize she has only every acted this way towards me and my Black friends/family. Someone immediately came in after us and she flipped a 180. Horrible service, rude (& seemingly racist) owner, and overcharging prices. The worst environment I have been in she got up and watched my every move. Pray for her cause idk what she going through but it must be sumn."
"Cashier overcharged me, a 41 dollar drink should not have a 9 dollar tax. She made her own prices, without displayed original prices. Go to a real ABC store and don’t get scammed."
"These guys are an absolute staple to the neighborhood. You shoud have seen the store back in 2011. He said: "Neighborhood Changing, tell me what to order I will have it." And he absolutely followed through and stocked the Bacaradi flavors my roommate really liked. While the new store has air conditioning, and the 3" clear glass divider is gone, these guys have been here for us through it all. Well, except for the 3 years that they were not there.... but they were not going anywhere else."
"Card was charged a separate amount from the original.GO TO LA LIQUORS a couple doors down. If you must shop here use cash."
"My sister and I went here on 7/4/22 and the woman who works there was extremely rude. We walked in right in front of a white couple. All of us were browsing the back coolers for drinks. After the white couple left, she came to the back and told us to close the cooler door. I obliged but then she rudely questioned us and told us to hurry up and buy something. I then made a comment about how she didn’t do this to the white couple and she replied, “Because they knew what they wanted”. Again, the white couple was right next to us at the coolers browsing the selection. My sister suggested we go elsewhere and when we started to walk out she tried to slam the door on us and shouted expletives at my sister. This was 100% racially motivated. We ended up going a few doors down and the drinks we were looking at were cheaper there anyway. TLDR: Racist shop owner & inflated prices. Go anywhere else please."
