"The maintenance team and Tee at the front desk are wonderful. Maintenance is quick to fix any issues and typically responds same day. As others have noted, things went a bit downhill when ownership changed from Bozzuto to Elme. Previously, at the end of the lease term, Bozzuto would let you choose between going month to month with a higher rent increase OR renew for another year at a lower % increase. With Elme, they no longer give you an option and increase rent as much as they are legally allowed to. It seems like they want current tenants to move out so they can raise prices as much as possible. Why else would everyone who has lived in the building for over a year be month to month? Suspicious."

"Overall they keep this building very clean. The elevator can be busy every now and then but the good thing is that the stairs are available. Parking is limited so I'd recommend parking in the neighboring streets as they residential street parking. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is because of the parking situation. However the building is located between two metro stops: Cleveland Park and Van Ness."

"To begin with, I would like to showcase my gratitude to the lease office team. Specially to Jason who is the community manager and the amazing lady that I forgot her name. They are very helpful, professional and welcoming. They even encouraged me to use their office PC in order get things done in a timely fashion. It was an amazing experience so far! Moreover, they gave me a very delightful tour of the suite, provided me with detailed information about everything beforehand. I really loved the apartment tour, it was nice, clean and cute, and they even shared their insights regarding how to take care of the apartment space by furnishing it properly. Looking forward to my new apartment! Highly recommended for those looking for a friendly, clean and welcoming environment!!!"

"I love my new apartment. The appliances are new, the layout is functional, and it has a wall of windows so the entire place stays flooded with natural light. It is also perfectly situated between multiple public transit options, as well as grocery stores and lots of walking paths! Most importantly, though, was the actual move in experience - Rennel and Jason went above and beyond at every step of the way. Their attentiveness has made me feel welcomed and their straightforwardness has earned my trust. I highly recommend them and 3801 Connecticut! (Extra points for the awesome concierge staff, too!)"

The service by the front office/front desk/maintenance has always been top notch. Everyone is ready to help with any concerns you may have. Very professional too. Highly recommend!!"
