"This is the worse renting experience for me. I canceled my application, and after about a month they didn’t pay my security deposit back!!!!!! I called, I emailed! I went in person and guess what??? They didn’t pay attention to me! I need my money! This is the way they welcome to new people! Take their money! This is the story! I’m new in the states and said that to them. They said no problem, okay apply. Once I want to get the Apt they coworkers called Ashley didn’t say anything that your income seems low or it is not around our rules and even say anything about having co-signer/register at their guarantetor website if I’m not approved. So put me in a bad situation. Because if I knew that, I didn’t pay the fee and security deposit, I even didn’t apply and went somewhere else. And after that waste my time, then she called and said that you have to bring a co signer or pay money to another website to guarantee your income. I know this is the system. My problem is that she didn’t mention this system before I applied! I feel they lied to me. Also after about a month they didn’t my security deposit back!!!!!! I called, I emailed! I went in person and guess what??? They didn’t pay attention to me! I need my money! This is the way they welcome to new people! Take their money!"

"UPDATE AS PROMISED (original review: My husband, and I, are owed $450.00 from the Kenmore/Elm properties, who initially sent our return deposit check to the wrong address. What could've been a simple fix turned into a game of hide and seek by the Kenmore, and multiple email + phone conversations..) WELL.. finally received our full deposit back after 10 weeks, a lot of work on our part, and inconvenience to us, but we're grateful that Kenmore did do the right thing at the end of it all. Would have definitely wanted to rent from them!"

"I took a tour of this building yesterday. I currently live in at the Hepburn in DuPont/Kalorama which is a Bozzuto property as well. That said, these two properties are expected to have some differences snd my expectations are reflective of that. The lobby was nice, introduction to the property was nice, and the laundry room downstairs I thought was actually exceptionally clean for a shared community place to do your laundry. Quite expensive for the laundry though, 4 bucks to wash and dry. Well I would consider that expensive, but I’ve also never used a public laundry room either. The one bedroom I looked at was the model bedroom but it had maybe 20-50 dead little critters in the kitchen sink. These are cheaper apartment so maybe this is just what you get for 2k per month rental fee. My experience with Bozzuto has been fairly good at the Hepburn, but I think it comes down to local management honestly. I have never tried to call big Bozzuto and I wouldn’t know how to if I needed to honestly. Additionally, another thought I’ve had after reading the other reviews before I posted mine was that someone here claimed black mold was in the building. Black mold can be harmful and deadly. Seems to me the management would want to publicly clear up any discussion of black mold."

"I lived here for a year (2021-22) and I loved it. Response time for maintenance is extremely fast, 99% of the time the problem is fixed within the same day, unless it’s a weekend and they will come fix it on Monday. Leon is really friendly and efficient. As soon as packages are checked in, they become available to you (about an hour after they arrive). The concierge is always polite and professional. They’re down there 24/7 which is really nice. Miss Robin was the highlight of my days and nights & she was always extremely kind and helpful. All leasing agents are very knowledgeable and really are looking out for your best interests. Special shout-out to Lorell because she was the absolute best and was rly attentive to all my questions and concerns. Hearn always looks out too, appreciate them both. OVERALL I really loved living here! If I didn’t have to change locations for work I’d probably stay here. The hardwood floors are really nice and my closet is huge. All the people who work in the building are amazing & I’m going to miss it."

"Our move-in experience at the Kenmore was smooth and efficient. The management team made the process very easy for us, and they were good with communication. With advance notice, we easily reserved a window for the loading dock for the movers. So far, we have only good things to say about the unit, everything was freshly painted and/or installed for us on move-in day. Also, everyone that works at the concierge desk is very friendly and courteous. Thank You!"
