"Unsure where my first rating went, but I happened to be looking for tax advice for the coming year and rediscovered this company only to find that the 1-star rating I had given this company disappeared. So I'll back it up with words this time, which I had written down, just in case I wanted to actually give a review. - Basil, the man who helped me was extremely condescending. He basically berated me multiple times saying that I should use my common sense. You just don't say that to clients. - Multiple times, he went on a rant about how all documents should be paper and not digital. I wanted to learn more about my taxes and the system, I didn't want to hear an outdated lecture about how he didn't want to conform to modern methods of work. - When I asked basic questions about my taxes, he seemed to get visibly frustrated with me and was very rigid in his responses. The feeling I got from him was that I should know these things because it's "common sense". If i knew what I was doing, why would I be seeking help? - He was just flat out disrespectful overall. Constantly going on tangents and rants, and talking over me at times. He did not try at all to empathize, listen, or to understand my situation, instead he ignored anything I had to say, assumed my situation and proceeded to shove his ideas down my throat. It's such an antiquated way to deal with people. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Do not go to this man for advice or if you're looking to learn more about the tax system. A week later, I visited another advisor, who was much much more helpful, and willing to actually listen to the issues I was having. Do not give this man your business."
