Reviews of Roland Ridge
"Seems like Southern Management as a whole specialize in pests. Maybe they should reconsider! My experience at Roland Ridge started out great! Half way into the lease my car was stolen from the property, they charge a trash removal fee, but the dumpster is shared with the recreation center next door as well as parking. I didn’t see roaches but I see mice constantly in my apartment. The complex charges for water too, just so you know! I will say the leasing office is not the best but they do “attempt “ to assist. Looking to leave ASAP!"
"I returned to Roland Ridge after moving 6 years ago for my job. It remains a serene and close knit community. I enjoy the location that lets me live in the city but enjoy the fact that the community is 'tucked away' behind the Medfield home owners. I don't drive so being close to public transportation as well as within walking distance to The Rotunda and The Avenue is a plus."
"they are so ridiculous. the first 6 months I have no complaints, the previous manager (Kecia) worked with me and understood my situation and legit never made anything difficult. when you first move in it says you have until the 6 to pay, she gave you until the 6. the new manager (Amanda) I kid you not is SOOOOO money hungry its ridiculous, shes clearly trying to prove some kind of point. and she would hassle you for the rent before the 6, even after you show her the paper that clearly states you have until the 6. her response is "it takes 24 hours to process which is technically the 5". when I tell you half of my building left because of her, I mean it. before I moved 3 people prior to me left because she is just too much. they also go into your apartment without letting you know, or even after you tell them no they cant. for example, I filled out the paperwork stating I want to be there while they do the final examination of the apartment, I came home to a letter ON MY TABLE stating they went in and inspected the apartment...so what was the point in asking if I wanted to be there or not if not respect it? I put in like 4 work order for my closest because they kept falling off, NEVER got it fixed. they want you to clean the apartment before leaving yet when I moved in there were marks on the floor, dirty stove/oven and fridge. I slipped on ice 3 times in the year of living there because they don't put down ice. my boyfriend put in a work order for his shower head pressure, never got that fixed. I genuinely don't complain about places, but it's a month later and im getting a bill of 175 for damaged doors, dude they legit just painted the doors and I got charged 350 for the paint being chipped off. we had a snow storm so I couldn't send my keys over right away, they said it was fine to mail them in..two days later I got an email saying I was being charged 25 for keeping the keys..they are above and beyond ridiculous and over priced. don't do it to yourself. save yourself the headache and your money."
"I recently move from Roland ridge this was my first time having my very own apartment. The rental office people were nice at first then they staring to become annoying. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone!! The amount of rent you pay and the apartment itself doesn’t add up you pay so much and you really don’t get anything but central air wow right there is never any parking I had to park a block away from my home to top it all off a street pole fell on my car and Roland ridge was of no assistance to me it was one car that didn’t work that was parked in front of my apartment complex for weeks I even called and made them aware of the problem and nothing was done until like a month later. The only thing nice about the apartment is it’s on a quiet community and that’s about it ."
"Huge mice issue for going on a year. Some of the staff have become unprofessional and complacent ( i.e. they don't do their job/have no interest in remedying residential issues). At this point they just want rent and don't want to provide descent living or customer service. Had a huge AC issue and the staff completely dropped the ball (leasing/managment and maintenance). Community has a lot of assisted living residence (low income) which devalues the property/community. Positive: neighborhood is very safe and close to the highway and transit. Do your research and move somewhere worthwhile or move here for 6 month to a year (to save money..etc) then move immediately."
