"My husband, myself, and our dog have been living here for almost a year now, and have loved every second! The community is kind and welcoming, it’s quiet, conveniently placed, and so very welcoming to pets. There isn’t assigned parking except for handicap access, which is one less headache to worry about when coming home from work. I personally don’t mind since I’m able to walk. The dog park is easily my favorite addition to Emerald Woods. It’s fenced in, there are benches, trash can for humans, a waste can for droppings, and a pedal fountain for your dog! The dog park is ultimately where we met our friend-group, and is the highlight of our day! The sidewalks surrounding are kept clean and clear. The ground keepers can be seen working to keep the area beautiful fairly often, and maintenance answers fairly quickly. My only wish for maintenance is to communicate ahead when they plan to show up because I like to be present when they visit, personally. Our leasing manager, Megan, was the first kind face we met when touring apartments. Paperwork went smoothly at our initial meeting, and she calmed my own nerves when we were getting ready to sign. She is so kind, caring, energetic, and her ability to connect is unmatched. It’s not often we have an issue or just a question, but Megan is always quick to respond when we do. She is our honorary apartment neighbor and we hope you like her as much as we do!!"

"Overpriced and outdated. I stayed here with my family during the months of COVID-19 while our new home was being built. Model shown is way nicer than any of the apartments I’ve seen. Maintenance is of little help, all issues are “not of emergent need”. They wanted to charge for every little stain that was there previously to when we got there, good thing we took pictures prior. Take your business elsewhere for the price."

"An absolute joke from the landlord down to Megan the leasing "manager". Tried charging us $215 out of our security deposit to refinish an already dilapidated, 20 year old bathtub (that was not mentioned during the move out walk thru). We told them we would take them to court and they quickly changed tune and issued our check. I suggest any and all potential tenants take a picture and document every single knick, stain, questionable item because they will not hesitate to charge you. Their apartments are very outdated and appliances are late 90's models, but you're definitely paying 2022 rates. i have nothing good to say about this place whatsoever. will post pictures of emails & would be charges later. (Megan - you are an awful person for taking advantage of people, even after we paid the +$4,000 early termination fee & your yellow beetle is ugly)."

"Emerald woods apartments are very out dated. When they show you the apartment which is the model apartment that has not been lived in, it is really nice but it looks nothing like the actual apartment. The outside has great curb appeal but do not let that fool you, it does not follow thru with the inside of there facility . Kitchen cabinets has contact paper fronts that is coming off and the floors to the kitchen and bathroom are so old that the dirt is ground in and cannot be cleaned. Some of the laundry room areas the door cannot even shut because the dryers is to big for the door to close. Just remember when looking at the model you will not be living in it"

"I would not recommend these apartments! The old carpets are stained and then they charge you when you leave for stains and cleaning plus they take it out of your deposit and don't even tell you. Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity are in falling apart shape, rotted. I left t his place in better shape than when I moved in, only there 6 months and they still took money out of my deposit. I only slept there ,and showered, never used the appliances or cabinets or even hooked up the TV and phone. Do not trust them. I am told they are due for remodeling but I don't believe it. The sink in the bathroom was so cracked that it was almost impossible to clean. The tub fixtures were rusted and corroded. I would not recommend these to anyone unless they remodel. Be extremely picky when you fill out the form of things you see bad when you move it or you will be charged for cleaning/repairing. List the things carefully, each and every drop of stain on the carpeting especially."
