"We have been living here 9+ years. I honestly like the apartment for me and my husband. It’s the right size for us, not too big not too small. The thing I like about is when you call for something to be fixed they’re there, and they also make you feel at home. For those that complains about Ft Detrick being noisy, try going to a race track and you’ll find out what noise is all about. Our permanent home. No complaints from us. ❤️"

"Rented here for 6 years, they gave me (disabled) notice to move in 30 days. The owner showed NO sympathy that I was in mourning of just losing my Mom. This property is not tolerant of anyone who smoke, including visitors. It is NOT a quiet place if your apt. faces Ft. Detrick, constant noise from the parking lot & the base next door. BTW, the community garden is not a free to pick garden, it is policed constantly by a hard nosed woman who will abuse you verbally for picking on your own. For years I dealt with AC issues. The beautiful gardens you see are created by a renter who lives there, not by Detrick Plaza Apts. there many more quiet & accommodations near by to rent."

"Many of my neighbors and friends have been living here for more than 10 years. The mold must be in his head. The fact that there are rarely any vacancies speaks volumes. We refer to Detrick Plaza as our "7th Street Sanctuary""

"I lived here for 7 years. Beware, my building was filled with black mold. I could not in good faith recommend anyone to rent here. There is maintenance garbage piled up in the back lot. The owner is a no tolerance type of person. There is a garden area however you are not allowed to choose your own veggies, you get second best bye what is left on tables around the grounds."
