"UPDATE as of 6-2-22 they do not have any actual family doctors in this clinic. It is all nurse practitioners. So if you need an actual doctor for social security, child support, or any other legal purposes, you will have to find somewhere else to go. My initial review: Me and my son have been patients at Change Inc in Newell for many years I have come to love many of the providers at this office but there are a lot of things that really need worked on. The first being their telephone system. Getting ahold of anyone is like pulling teeth and the dental department doesn't bother to pick up the phone pretty much at all. I had to find another place to do a dental health check up for my son to register for kindergarten because no one bothered to answer for over a week so he couldn't be scheduled at the office on time to make the deadline. The next bad thing being the "letting go" of great employees and apparently not taking care of others to the point they leave. When I first started coming, the secretaries at the front desk were amazing and knew me and my son the moment we walked in. They all left because of something going on with that office. Dr. Tucker was an amazing gynecologist who actually cared and bent over backwards after I had my son to make sure I was healthy. She was let go. When I finally did switch my doctor to one in Change, it was actually a nurse practitioner, Amanda. Not long later, she was gone. I switched to Dr. Applegate who is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I've ever met. He goes out of his way to help and genuinely tries to get you any help you might need. Now he's being let go because they want doctors who can get patients in and out as quickly as possible (roughly 15 minutes), as I heard. So not only can they not keep their phones functioning and keep enough employees to answer them in a timely fashion, they are getting rid of some of the best doctors due to the amount of time they take. For a community office with so many services, you would figure they would actually attempt to care about getting their patients the best care and lately, it seems to be about just the money. If this isn't adjusted, they'll be losing a lot of patients in a short amount of time. At this point, the only reason we stay is because the pediatrician Dr. Littleton and the dentist Dr. Lyons are absolutely amazing. If they ever remotely think about getting rid of those two, I'm done coming here."
"I love my doctor! This review is for the amount of time it takes to get a receptionist to answer the phone. On hold a total of 70 minutes. 11 people were in front of me then finally down to 1 people ahead of me and then on hold 25 minutes after that. Maybe an answering machine we could leave a message and they could call us back might help better than the system they are using now."
"Very good about getting you in to be seen when needed. However they are not timely on getting your prescriptions to your pharmacy in a timely manner☹. When you are sick or when your child is sick you do not want to wait hours for your pharmacy to get your script. This occurs often here sad but true. Hope someone realizes this is an issue and address before my family finds another provider."
