"My daughter gave these people about a month ago her and my grandkids info. Birth certificate and social security card because they said an apartment was going to be coming available. She called this past Friday to see what about an update. These people said they lost all of her information. how the hell did they lose everything. If something comes up with somebody using their information there is going to be a problem!"
"I am not a tenant but was applying to be. The lady, not sure her name, younger employee, was handling my move in. I was contacted at the end of October 2022, was told I had to reapply or submit new documentation since I originally was added to the wait list in September 2021. Ok, that’s fine. After back & forth of what was needed in my end and what wasn’t, after getting the SAME paper notarized 3 times because the employee didn’t know how I was supposed to complete the paper, finally everything was submitted and completed at the end of December 2022. Took 2 months of back and forth to complete the application. Since the time i originally applied, I was told the complex was income based and ranged from 30-50% of your income. I am a single mom. My gross income is around $1,500. I was still being told through the process the rent would be anywhere from 30-50%. Ok cool. I was also calling and going to the complex weekly to check the status of the approval from management. The employee told me the expected move in date is mid-January. I continuously asked if they know what the rent amount would be, every time I’d get the phrase “waiting on management”. Well the first week of January went by, didn’t hear from anyone. I went to the office (because no ever answers the phone on a normal basis) and was told the young lady who was handling my move in quit and check back next week. Second week of January came, I went into the office, I asked for an update, no update, said I’d get a call. Today, January 18 2023, I called the complex and was told by the older lady the rent for me and my children would be $1,200. REMEMBER, I was told from the start the rent would be 30-50% of my income. I was upset but I understood everyone needs to make money. I asked why is the rent so high if this complex is income based. I was told this complex IS NOT income based, it is low income housing. I’m not sure how they can be considered “low income housing” when rent is the normal amount for this area. Employee asked if I had any other income, I said no. Employee then said we didn’t think you would qualify. Management was supposed to call me on 1/17 & 1/18. NO CALL! I want an explanation on why the application process what such a hassle. Also why, if they knew I didn’t meet the income requirements, was I not told when I submitted all my documentation. Why are the employees advertising “income based” of it isn’t based on your income. Like I said, I am STILL waiting for a call from management."
"Do not live here. I could write a book about what goes on here but I’ll keep it kinda short for you. The manager is very unprofessional, has a foul mouth, the office is always locked and filled with cigarette smoke. As the previous posted stated, she tends to have older people live here that won’t “tell on her”. There’s a good chance that she’s also drinking on the job. If you contact her boss about things that are not right, she will slander your name and who knows what else. Very untrustworthy woman. Takes things personally. Thought this was a clean safe peaceful place for my family to live. Very wrong. The turn around rate of residents in the same building as the property manager is very high because no one wants to deal with the drama. Very sad. Upset I had to go through this experience, wish I knew would have never chose to waste my hard earned money here. Please save yourself the headache. The only good thing is that the lawn is pretty to look at."
