"It was great, until I missed an appointment AND didn’t get something done that they recommended (which was fine to wait until next appointment). Note- I was told different things by these women, in regards what I needed done and what the cost would be, so I agree they are liars. The women are spiteful and rude once you stop giving the business your money. I arrived to an appointment at 1:45. By 2:30 my cat was still not seen by anyone. I had to get back to work, so I walked out. Mind you, people who arrived AFTER me were taken care of. I literally watched it happen. At which point, I was annoyed with sitting there waiting. I walked up to the woman at the front desk on her computer in attempt to reschedule. She didn’t look at me at all and said “hold on”…. A MAN STEPPED IN LINE BEHIND ME AND SHE SAID “HOW CAN I HELP YOU SIR” and he walked in front of me. That was the moment I said F this and walked out. I’ve never seen a more unprofessional crew in my life. I assume the good reviews are people who haven’t missed an appointment, and leave their wallets wide open and agree with everything they say. I’ve rescued for a while, and I know what needs to be done when. This business is money hungry and will literally reprimand you for saying the word no. Thus… I am going to Dr. Kutish in Wilkes Barre. I’ve heard great things about them. BE WARNED."
"It's been a few days since my dog died, I'm finally getting around to saving others from a poor experience. Just to sum it up... if you're looking for a smug veterinarian to callously talk down to you then this is the place to go. My dog had a hip problem yes but I kept saying how he was excessively panting even when at rest and something was off. My husband and I on our second or third visit asked for more blood work. At that point doctor Fine said "I guess I need to believe you" and did the blood work. A few minutes later he came back and said I need more blood work and casually looked at my dog's gums. Mind you we are already thousands of dollars in trying to figure out what was wrong with our baby and after the second round of blood work that day, he told us he probably has an autoimmune disease which is causing him to have low oxygen and that's why he's panting. If treated early enough this autoimmune disease could clear up and the dog can live a long time. But we are already weeks in and now we are finally getting this diagnosis! Lots of drugs and tears later, he scheduled more appointments .....needless to say I can go on.... for 1 month my dog was in distress. He continued to give us expensive shots for his hips, diet dog food, all kinds of things $$$ but on our last visit when he was wrestling with my dog to get blood out of his neck for another blood sample, I realized if that's what they did in front of me how is my dog treated behind the scenes? My dog was Scared, sick and died less than 24 hours later! We've had some good experiences there but it sure is not worth it to deal with the arrogance, the scary walk up the steps in need of repair, the long waiting times, the expensive treatments, And of course a smug attitude! You know your pet and you need someone to believe you when you say something is wrong"
"You will not find more qualified or caring doctors and staff to care for your pet. We have used this vet clinic for 15 years and have always valued their honesty and quality care. I really would disregard any of the negative reviews below. In any business you will never please everyone. And yes veterinary care is an expensive part of owning a pet. The assurance with this vet clinic is they will not charge you for unnecessary tests and they will provide you the best quality care within your means."
"Amazing vets, my fur baby wound up with pyrometra, we caught it in time for her to have surgery. Drs Fine saved her life. It was a harrowing experience as we just lost our grand puppy a couple months earlier to the same thing. My Holly had a lot of guardian angels that day, the staff was informative and compassionate, even to my worrying. My girl is happy and healthy today thanks to these wonderful vets and their staff."
