"We went here by accident trying to find something to do and landed in Spruce Forest Artisan Village for the afternoon. I went in to Fernwood and grabbed some essential oils and “the answer” balm. My kids have extremely sensitive skin. Eczema, hives, and molluscum. I’ve been using the answer on my 18 month old for a few months. It cleared his molluscum and eczema. I ordered more of the balm, and it arrived at my house within 2 days."

"I have been after my aunt to let me know what kind of bar soap she uses in her guest bathroom and she finally gifted me a bar for Christmas this year! It turned out to be this wonderful handmade soap from the Fernwood Soap Shop. I immediately got online to find out how I could buy more and was pleasantly surprised to discover the many different scents that were available. This soap is unique in that it doesn't tend to "melt" and turn into a soft, sticky pile in your soapdish like other handmade soaps I have tried. It holds its shape through many handwashings. It lathers well and smells so fresh and clean! I placed an order for 4 more bars in different scents and was pleased to see that it was processed and shipped quickly. My order arrived today and it was just like Christmas all over again. The soaps arrived in very sturdy, colorful boxes. I love every scent I purchased and will definitely be back for more. The description on the box says they are "total body shampoo and conditioner" soaps but I have just used them so far as handsoap and they are just heavenly! Thank you so much for such a wonderful product!!"

"This soap place is a Gem. Nestled right in the Spruce Forest Artisan Village. It is very well maintained and beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. This place is locally owned and all products are handmade and packaged on site. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate of his work. It is very welcoming and peaceful when you walk in. The scents are very natural and earthy. There are a wide variety of products made. Candles, lip balm, bug spray, essential oils, beard oil, shaving cream, aromatherapy oils. So many varieties of scents as well. There are samples you can try. They also have online ordering as well. If you have any questions just ask as they are very nice to talk to. They are also great on prices. I spent $18 for soap, lip balm, and a bottle of aromatherapy oil. Which is amazing for something locally sourced, made, and packaged. They also have some cute pre packaged bundle gift sets. Please stop by on you're next road trip or visit to the village. Support local businesses!!!"
