Dandy Flats

"I've stayed at Trevor and Justin's airbnb several times with the last 2 of them as its second incarnation as The Dandy. It is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed in that the spaces are immaculate, interesting, cozy, and has a few fun surprises (no spoilers) that make it truly unique. The hosts spare no expense or effort in terms of the thoughtfulness and care that goes into making your stay as comfortable and special as possible. Thomas, WV, if you haven't been is also home to a lot of really cool, amazing artists of all kinds (I go home with a new piece every few times I visit), great music at the Purple Fiddle, hiking, beauty, and it's about 15 degrees cooler in the summer than the rest of the country."

"My home away from home! I've enjoyed many stays over the years at Dandy Flats. Recently renovated (now even more awesome), these flats exude comfort and character. Immediately convenient to all things downtown Thomas (shops, galleries, food, drink, coffee, live music) and a short drive to other Canaan Valley gems (Davis, Blackwater Falls, two downhill ski areas & White Grass, Dolly Sods). Additional niceties include free parking, easy check-in/check-out, and smooth communication with the best hosts."

"Extremely thoughtful renovation! This was one of the most memorable stays for a vacation. Everything was expertly designed and amenities were well planned. Having a dog friendly option is definitely a huge perk as well. So many good things to say: Comfy Bed, relaxing shower, great location to shops in the city, and overall great vibes. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are ever in the area."
