"If you are looking for Taekwondo Dojang for your child or for yourself, then look no further. All the Masters and Instructors here are trained in numerous skills in different backgrounds and are accomplished Taekwondo artists. They are patient with the kids and adults. The prices are reasonable and better than most places. They do not hand color belts/ blackbelts like a candy. You earn a belt when you deserve it. Finally, Blackbelt that is earned is Kukkiwon certified and the Dan card is sent from World Taekwondo headquarters in South Korea. The students are taught taekwondo and trained the way it should be. I can’t say enough good things about Master Robert, Master Nick, Instructor Sam for their dedication towards the art. The knowledge they are willing to share is priceless. Not to forget the dedication and impressive teaching styles and skills of Master Cho and Master Grace. This is NOT your average McDojo."

She had used them in the past for her daughter and I tried them out, before you know it we enrolled for Before/Aftercare program along with Tae Kwan Do. "We’ve been attending Black Belt Academy for seven years. We started when my first born was 5 years old.Black Belt Academy has been a consistency in our life ever since. We’ve done Before and After School program, virtual class during Covid, and summer camps. My kids have a great time, are active and learn about discipline, respect, and hard work. The staff is top notch. It’s easy to see that the environment there is positive, and everyone loves what they do; no easy feat when dealing with children. Master Robert is a gem. He takes a vested interest in every student, listens, and corrects any issues. He also recruited the dream team of Jr. Master Nick, Assistant Instructor Sam, Alex, and Christy. The facility is always clean, the staff greets you upon arrival, I trust them with safely transporting my children to and from school. The price is fair and my son put it perfectly when he said “Black Belt feels like a second home”."

"Both of my kids attend BBA, summer session and before and after care. My son has been going here for over 4 years, he started when he was five. We first started at the Fort Washington location before relocating to Waldorf. It was good for my son to see familiar faces while adjusting to a new school and making friends. I love that they also have activities like Halloween parties to give the parents some time for date night or whatever it may be. Master Cho, Master Roberts, instructor Nick and Sam are all really nice to my kiddos."
