"Amazing studio to learn cultural street dances from. The teachers are very helpful and the whole environment from students to staffs are supportive of each other's growth. They have online and in-person classes from Popping, Locking, Breaking, House Dance, Whacking and so much more. They also throw a lot of open jam sessions and community events for dancers to join and participate. Highly recommend going to UA!"

"Can we talk about how awesome Funkateers is!! My kiddo is in the program for the youngest group. We joined online during the pandemic and I have been so grateful for how warm and personal the teachers have been able to make class on Zoom. So far, class has been lead by Hannah and Maren. Both fantastic. Patient, engaging, talented and creative. I'm especially impressed because engaging a 5 year-old online is no small feat. I can only imagine how amazing this will be in person, too!"

"Took several classes there and all instructor were true to the culture. Super inclusive, genuinely warm and caring yet disciplined and coherent in their teachings. I like Leslie's Thursday nite the best as the music (House) does not contain profanities. Love doing the hip hop and breakdancing moves but the swearing gets me down sometimes."

"We came here for a dance class last week and had a blast! The staff are there to teach more than just choreography: they explain the history of certain styles of dance, teach you fundamentals as opposed to just choreography, and adjust the level to appropriately fit the class. This is where you want to go if you want to learn to dance and not just repeat someone else's moves."
