"I worked here as a guard and witnessed and listened to staff be incredibly disrespectful and even racist to patients. Some of these staff were awful. At the same time, they also have a mix of INCREDIBLY patient, caring, and professional staff as well, and i had the pleasure working alongside individuals young and old that loved their job . I believe working here. The area tends to rub off on you after time. The treatment you received from the public working here was often horrendous, and I feel as if it takes its toll and makes you forget why you're in the field at all, which is to help people. Rip St. Francis, it had a long legacy."

"I’m sorry but this hospital does not take proper action for peoples health and livelihood. I came here for a bad uti and I have history with kidney infections. For one they did not take any blood or hook me up to fluids. Then my fiancée came here 2 day’s ago he blacked out hit his head and been having excruciating pain along his left leg. They did not give him a cat scan after the doctor told him that’s what he wanted him to have done. They just rushed him out the door I will never go to this hospital again!!!!"

"Doctor Mervin Griffin, did you have a bad night? I came into the ER and the first thing you ask is “where is your mother?”. Not even a hello first? And maybe if you checked my charts or you know, started a normal conversation, you would’ve known I was an adult. I overheard you being smug about me coming in earlier to the other RNs(my health issue progressed to something more serious compared to my first time coming); I asked questions in regard to my current situation to understand it better and you still acted smug. You are working at a setting of vulnerability, your work as a doctor is not welcoming. Reconsider the way you approach your patients. The RNs here are the real heros"

"My 93 yo mother received excellent care from the pre-admission and outpatient radiology staff at a time when due to the corona virus issue St.Francis was the only hospital in Central Jersey that accepted to do an x-ray of her L hip. The security officers were also very polite, helpful and understanding."
