"My husband and I began taking lessons from Christina about 6 weeks before our wedding. She taught us basic moves that gave us the confidence with our first dance as husband and wife. She was incredibly patient with us, and so accommodating, even meeting us the morning of our wedding for one final practice to work out nervous jitters! Freddie (the owner) is also amazing! My mom is in a wheelchair and we weren't sure how to dance with her. Freddie met us at my mom's assisted living facility and did a private lesson to teach us how to safely dance with her, moving in sync with her wheelchair. It was a highlight of the wedding, many guests said it brought them to tears seeing them dance. I can't thank Social Graces Ballroom Dance for going above and beyond, and helping to make our special day unforgettable!"
"My wife and I are empty nesters and took our first private lesson from Freddie (the owner) in April 2022 and immediately connected with his personalized and empathetic teaching style. We have been going to Social Graces for about a year and a half now - about four times a week between the weekly private lesson, two weekly group classes, and the awesome Friday practice social dance. We have learned (and are still learning) waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, rumba, tango, east coast swing and west coast swing! Freddie and his experienced and new instructors are all awesome and can cover levels from “I have two left feet” to “I want to look like I won Dancing with the Stars”. Not only are the instructors great, but the whole studio community (who you get to meet at the Friday dances) are friendly and supportive of all levels. And the periodic themed dances (like super hero’s and 80’s) are a load of fun, too! We are so grateful to have found Social Graces!"
"I enrolled with my daughter to learn a dance for her wedding. A week later, I brought my wife in for lessons. The wedding was two years ago, but my wife and I are still taking weekly lessons. The instructors make it easy and fun to learn new steps and techniques. The group lessons and weekly dance parties (included with enrollment) add to the enjoyment of ballroom dancing. I went through brain cancer treatment throughout last year and the dancing is helping me with my recovery therapy. I couldn’t be more pleased with Social Graces Ballroom Dance Studios."
"This place is a Must-see and dance. Great instructors who offer excellent and fun classes; nice and friendly environment. Really an amazing place that welcomes beginners, intermediate, and advanced dancers, and they always make sure to teach something new and make us even better, if not a fantastic, dancer. Besides weekly group classes, private lessons, and different social events, on Fridays, they offer social and practice dance nights. It is a really fun place to be. Thank you Social Graces Ballroom Dance Studio."
"So glad I found Social Graces. My teenager started lessons in ballroom dance here over a year ago, and she has had excellent instruction from a number of teachers. She had also encountered a welcoming community of social dancers of all ages and learned how to be social off her phone. Safety is a priority, and the instructors have always communicated with me and my daughter what will happen in every dance, so we are never uncomfortable. What's more, the instructors have experience working with people of different abilities, making dance attainable for everyone. My daughter has even learned how to partner in wheelchair ballroom dance. The dance floor is large, accommodating big groups for the fun Friday-night, practice parties and other events (love the murder mysteries). The small upstairs studio is perfect for just one couple or a small group. Look it for special visits by outside instructors, who specialize in specific types of dance. They are a great opportunity to learn. You won't find a more encouraging, supportive community as you begin your dance journey than you will find here. Worth every penny! Just give it a try."
