"My father has been in the hospital since December 4th coming in through the ER. I have to honestly say I will never bring him back. The ER was pretty good but, the floor he's on now .... ppffttttt. His room hasn't been cleaned since the day he was admitted. His bed linens weren't changed for 5 day's until I asked for the stuff and did it myself. He has a wound on his finger that wasn't cleaned or bandaged changed until I did it on the 9th. Which was done on a daily basis prior to his admittance. When we asked why the bed wasn't changed or the room cleaned we were told you have to request it or it doesn't get cleaned until you leave. That's pretty disgusting for a hospital. I won't hold my breath for my paycheck either."
"If I could give the women and babies Pavilion a 100 out of 5 I would... My wife delivered our first son here on 12-6-23. From the minute we walked onto the labor floor we had excellent care from our triage nurse and AP staff. We were taken to our delivery room where our nurse Courtney explained everything to us and showed an extreme amount of empathy towards my wife. Courtney was relentless in her pursuit to ensure my wife's comfort and ease. The anesthesia team was polite and confident when discussing and giving the epidural.... When our sons heart rate decelerated the resident team who came in to reposition my wife was excellent and in command the entire time. Dr Colalillo and her resident team to deliver our son were encouraging during the labor process. My wife has said a few times now "if it was not for the doctors and nurses constant support during pushing I couldn't have done it." After our son was born he needed to go to the NICU. The NICU team was swift treating our son right after birth. The PA Donielle was polite, empathetic and spent an incredible amount of time with my wife and I to make sure we understand our sons situation. Our labor second labor nurse, Victoria was AMAZING. We were scared to have our son in the NICU. Her empathy towards us was next level. She went with us to the NICU and told us we could stay as long as we wanted before going to our post partum room and that she would stay right there beside us. She then took care of us for the rest of her shift. The NICU team the next day was incredible. The word incredible is an understatement. Jennifer, Jennifyer, Hailey all were excellent to us. They showed so much love for our son and us. Our son was able to step down from the NICU and into our room at 330AM the next morning. The post partum nursing staff Ally, Erin, Kolbe again were extremely caring towards us. The lactation team of Tricia and Christy were a godsend to my wife. They worked with us on multiple occasions. Christy even stayed late after her shift on a Friday to ensure my son was latching properly. We have never experienced care to this level during our time at St Luke's Anderson Women and Babies Pavilion. We have nothing but fantastic things to say about everyone we encountered here. Highly recommend."
"I went to the emergency room at Anderson with pneumonia, respiratory failure, and sepsis. I did not realize that I only had minutes to live. The wonderful doctors and nurses in the ER immediately put me on life-support and took me up to the intensive care unit. I got to rest while they and the machines were taken care of me. I was probably asleep for about three days and, when I woke up, They were so wonderful to me, because I was so scared and confused. I had no idea what had happened or where I was. I started pulling the tubes out of my mouth so they had to put them back in and literally tie me to the bed. They said that that kind of reaction is very normal after coming off of sedation. They were absolutely wonderful and the doctors and nurses on the regular ward were also incredible. I spent about 10 days in the hospital. Thank you, St. Luke’s Anderson, for saving my life. I would not be here without you guys and girls."
"A usually go to Anderson Campus for regular tests & it is an efficient place for such testing; I recommend it highly. I also enjoy the walking paths through the Sunflower & Cosmos fields. The healing power of nature goes hand in hand with their primary task. Added my painting of Sunflower field (8/25/2023)"
"From the moment I walked into the hospital I was met by a smiling receptionist. I was very impressed with how well they designed the lobby to feel homey. Even though the hospital was super clean you did not get a cold sterile feeling which is a nice change. I highly recommend this hospital if you are in need of one. The staff was wonderful and everyone went out of their way to say hello when given the chance. Most of the time you need to go to, or visit, a hospital it's not pleasant but this campus helps take the edge off by how friendly everyone is and how homey they make it feel."
