"If you or your family member has a complicated medical history do yourself a lifesaving favor and go to a hospital with more advanced care and a well experienced team of specialists. It was recommended to have a family member be put to peace since there were complex medical conditions and the individual had to depend on medications. Basically it was on the order of put the family member out of their misery but the individual was not in a state of being terminal just felt the individual would eventually die from medical problems anyways. The doctor gave vague answers as to why and no specific reason as to why the patient needed to be put out of their misery at the moment. The doctor emphasized a holistic approach and how when the body isn’t working without medication their time is up. The doctors played God. Please go somewhere else."

"My elderly parent fell and knew one of the culprits may be a UTI. While in ER, she specifically asked to please test for UTI. ER refused. Had sprained ankle, and after blood work and heart monitoring, sent her on her way. UTIs can kill elderly. Always have an advocate (for you) if possible at this ER because the intention and attention is on remote control (oh well, that person is old… who cares… no one will notice). Now day 4, waiting for the proper treatment for a UTI in full bloom."

"Went there for major abdominal pain. Given an IV, then left to wait with no info for 3 hours ? Got up multiple times for the nurses, they said they would be in, then a different one would come. No pain medication prescribed, no Tylenol, just sitting and waiting with no information. Hours later, we have a scan, and we wait over an hour for nobody to read it that night. Should've went to Lehigh Valley instead"

"My mother was recently in the hospital for recurrent bowel obstruction due to hernia repair surgery that a surgeon butchered her prior! The day of her discharge she came home extremely confused, wetting herself a couple times without knowing, ripping her clothes off! I had to call 911 the same day! Turns out she still had the obstruction they never bothered to check. Case manager Erin gives me a hard time demanding she's goes to rehab for PT. Fine but she accues me of abuse and neglect calling adult protective services. My mom and children are everything to me! The one Dr calls too that was caring for her this time! At Weatherwood the PA and the home nurse looks into her chart, really looks. Finds out they were giving her strong amounts of Dilaudid every few hrs. Making her confused and almost overdosing her almost killing her! They had to give her meds to bring her back, narcan I think. I was wrongfully accuesed! I've spoken to a lawyer. As a ordained minister of God, I'm not only sueing for defamation of character that could affect my profession but medical negligence and trying to cover it up. I hope people read till the end and are warned! Stand up for your rights and your family! Adding to my review. We already have a lawyer ready to take this case so DON'T TRY Me!! They will try to take your loved ones away wether killing them or putting them in a nursing home. ALL saint Luke's around pa is like this but now I know miners is the worst and I won't stand for it. I've always protected my mother and I will protect her now! Remember God's light will always destroy Satan's darkness!"
