Reviews
"This pharmacy is the worst. They need to hire more people. This is my third incident before writing this review. Some of the pharmacy staff is very nice and some aren’t so nice. I can’t blame the ones who are nice because they are working with what they have. The nasty ones need to learn how to handle pressure as a customer service personnel. It doesn’t matter what your position is or job title or which company you work for you are always in the business of customer service or employee service focused. If you are in HR your behavior should be pleasant because you are representing the company and providing a service to the staff. If you are a cashier, you are providing a service to outside customers. If they are not paying you enough and you feel like you are too good for the job then you should have not taken the position, leave the job for someone else who really needs it. Now on to the second topic. This pharmacy is no more busier than any other pharmacy. So I don’t understand why medications are not ready 6-7 hours later after the doctor send in the prescription. That’s is almost a full shift. CVS needs to do better hire more people or set the hours back to what they use to be. This closing the pharmacy and the store is still open makes zero sense."
"After shopping for a few things, I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. The entire pharmacy shut down mid day unannounced for lunch! All 3 employees I saw just stopped serving customers with no notice. I understand people have to eat lunch but there should be at least one person able to serve the public during your marked business hours!"
"Got off work early after working 14hrs to pick up my prescription that makes me able to move and walk without pain. I tried to call ahead at 8:40 to make sure they would still be open when I got there, but the phone was never answered.. Arrived at 9:05, lights were still on in the pharmacy and I could see multiple employees in the back. Politely asked if they would get me my prescription, only to be laughed at and given no response. I ask again, this time explaining my situation, and one guy started mocking me, while the lady told me that they “aren’t allowed”. I know that’s untrue because I’ve been in similar situations at other CVS locations and have never had any issues. I went to talk to the employees in the front of the store and they asked their manager to help me. Even the manager could not get them to help me, suggesting I go to a different CVS 30 minutes away, when I can literally see my prescription in its bag behind the counter. At this point I’m crying because they’re being incredibly rude and mean to me, and I’ve had a very long night. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever received and those pharmacy employees deserve to be fired. I do plan on taking this up with your corporate office and I sincerely hope those people are never involved in healthcare ever again, they are vile and disgusting and they are disappointments to their mothers. Shout out to the two floor employees that were very kind to me and helped me calm down before driving, I wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them personally but this will have to do. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs."
"I arrived at the drive thru and waited 20 minutes before Xavier (pharmacy employee) put his finger up and walked away. He finally came to the window to help me. This is unacceptable! I live in New Carrollton and have frequented this CVS for 20 years. Lately, this is the worst customer service that I have experienced. What is the point of having the drive thru open if you are not going to have someone working it. Do better! Our community deserves better service."
"This the slowest CVS I’ve ever been too. Waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes before having to come inside to get my prescription. Still waiting in line it’s only one person in the line."
