"After having an annoying problem with a used indoor trainer, I took it here for a second opinion. This mechanic not only thinks outside the box but he clearly walks you through his thought process. Initially, I thought he was just very talkative but you really hear the thoughts of a genius. I have never asked so many questions and gotten all the answers but still wanted to ask more just to pick his brain."

"Had a bike shipped and assembled here with an Alfine internal hub. It was assembled incorrectly and aligned/calibrated on the 5th gear and not the 4th. I brought it back to be fixed and the mechanic was extremely unprofessional. I was told to not mess with it myself and try watching some YouTube videos (I did make it worse by messing with the adjustors), and if I wanted the bike properly aligned I would have to pay (even though I paid for assembly). They still calibrated it incorrectly in 5th gear on the second visit. I took it somewhere else where it was fixed without issue."

"I'm not a bike enthusiast, but I was looking for a gift for a friend who is. I talked to Evan for a while and picked up a small gift (a pocket bike repair multi tool). What I really enjoyed was the in-person experience of shopping at a neighborhood business. Our toddler even had time to get comfortable with the resident pup, Bear, thanks to Evan taking the time to "introduce" them. Velojawn is a retail and repair store that seems to offer most things that a cyclist would need or want. What I really appreciated was the time Evan took to attend to us, make recommendations, and even talk about raising a family in Philly :) The plan is for me to actually take my friend to Velojawn for a gift shopping visit until they have gift cards back in stock!"
