Reviews of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center - Main Campus
"Gina Campbell, floating nurse, resolved issue after discharge. Definitely went the extra mile. Marianne on the 8th floor delivered a difficult diagnosis will professionalism, caring and suggestions for successful post care along w an outstanding physician, Dr Mosley Ahmed. The caliber of these clinicians was exemplary. How can I evaluate them? A cardiac RN who spent 40 years working in a couple of major Manhattan medical centers. The care my son received was on par with those institutions. My husband and I will be forever grateful to the all the staff we interacted with for their high level of professionalism, compassion and commitment to delivering the highest quality of care. Thank you."
"In mid December I spent several days on the 7th floor. Nurses and other staff were great. The food was also very good. The only problem I saw was that the place needed cleaned. My room and my bathroom never got cleaned and I only saw one person occasionally pushing a mop. I reported all of this when I was asked about my experience. Within 15 minutes my room was mopped and sanitized. I was admitted again 3 weeks later and the difference was very noticable. The cleaning staff were very visible and were hard at work mopping, wiping down all surfaces, and emptying trash cans. Kudos to the hospital managers for correcting the problems I pointed out to them. My constructive criticism was acted upon quickly and has helped improve hospital services for everyone. . Thank You !!"
"The Emergency Room was life saving for me. They were kind, caring, attentive, and extremely competent. My every need was met. The nurses were constantly checking on me. Amanda made me feel very safe. Dr. Magley saw me immediately and she was very kind and attentive to my needs. Then I was admitted to 10 Ashman and the care was amazing. Katherine and Presley were so kind, competent, and were always checking on me."
"Such an amazing experience! I was in labor over 30+ hours and I honestly hated being in the hospital but the nursing staff, midwife’s and doctors all made our experience comfortable and well worth it all. Nursing staff advocates for you for things you want as well. We are bringing home our little boy today and I am so thankful for such a great stay here at Conemaugh. I am so glad my husband and I chose this hospital to deliver our baby."
"My wife and I had a great experience here at Conemaugh with the birth of our daughter. Dr. Camacho delivered our daughter and was absolutely amazing. He was down-to-earth, knew how to explain complicated things in the simplest of terms, and you just got a sense that you were in good hands with him and there was nothing to worry about. My wife did have a “rapid response” after delivery. When that extremely stressful situation happened, the entire staff jumped in and got to work. It was amazing watching them work as a team. My wife also had another issue later that night - the team got together and went to work and got her on her feet again. All the nurses and staff were amazing- especially Amanda, Leah and Sharon. They were so nice to us and gave us everything we needed. You can just tell by listening to them how knowledgeable and serious they are about their profession. So hats off to them, Dr. Camacho, and the amazing staff here at Conemaugh for all their hard work in bringing Ava Lynne into this world- it was truly remarkable."
