"I only rate this location a 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. For almost 6 years I have been taking my husky to the Petco across town without incidence. 3+ years ago the groomer suggested I try pre medicating my pooch with some benadryl due to the "dramatic" and anxious nature of the breed. Every visit since, the dog has been well behaved and cared for beautifully. The first time I tried to take him to East York the salon refused him because I did not have physical copies of his shot records regardless of the fact he was already in their system and proof of his vaccinations were surely available in their database. Today he was refused because of the pre medicating his last groomer (at the same company) suggested. The salon assured me that they would not be able to assess my pet's distress if he was medicated. Apparently East York's Petco employs an animal psychologist, but I have yet to receive any grooming services, hence ZERO stars."
