"Wiped out on my scooter and blew two tires. Had me fixed up in one afternoon. Great service, great price, great location."
"First bike shop I’ve ever walked into that couldn’t replace a flat tire, walked in and asked if they could replace my inner tube, guy says “it’s gonna be $300 to replace your breaking system”. $300 to fix my $20 tire?? This guy started making up prices on the spot. Even refused to sell me the parts for the DIY. These guys are looking for a pay day, not to help you. And to top it all off he took my e battery off my bike to check on it, put it back on my bike without locking it back into place. So when I took off so did the battery. Truly left out of this place worse than when I came. 20 min later I had it all replaced and repaired by my good friend who works an auto shop, got me all squared away for $40. Even switched my brake lines for “free” imagine that. (Willing to share his info so u don’t want to get juiced by these guys)"
"I noticed that the owner only responds to positive feedback, so I'm not expecting a response here. I've been to this shop twice and both times left a lot to be desired. My first trip was for some pedals and straps for my fixed gear bike, and I think I also grabbed a couple of over priced bike lights as well. I explained to the guy my needs and he sold me a set of pedals and straps. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized that the pedals would not work with the straps and were not even the style of pedal that could ever work with the straps. I would think a professional in a bike shop would know this before selling me this setup. On my second trip, I needed bullhorn handle bars and bar end brake levers. The guy also sold me the brake cable and housing I would need to complete the job. First, he almost sold me the wrong style of brake cable (road bike as opposed to mountain), but I caught that before I left the store. Unfortunately again, when I got home to do the job, I noticed that he cut the rear brake cable housing very short and it wasn't even enough to complete the job. I wound up having to order from Amazon, which I was trying to avoid doing, just to complete the job. I'm not sure if they don't care about the customer, or if they are just incompetent, but whatever the case may be, I don't recommend this place if you need professional help."
"Cool local bike shop with lots of cargo bikes and friendly, knowledgeable staff."
"As a cycle touring fanatic/Metro Detroit commuter cyclist, I rely on my brooks saddle everyday. This fall I had cycled from Quebec City to Boone North Carolina as part of a longer tour with a cracked/severed frame, after many attempts to JB-weld it back together, and receiving my old worn out B-17 saddle mailed by Dad. I got on the phone with Simon, mailed the saddle to Firth and Wilson, I explained that I would be in Philly in person one month later. Had the pleasure of meeting Simon, and could not be any happier with the beautiful repair on my saddle, free of charge. True quality and customer service right here! A rarity among most bike shops I have visited. Thanks for your help!"
