"I had adopted a small dog that had experienced some sort of trauma. The advice we were given with our short training visit paid off. She also counseled patience with the dog and that we have understanding that her whole world had changed and she was simply not certain of anything. Her routines were disrupted and she had no certainty of her place in the social order. So, we gave her some room while establishing routines that were more in her comfort zone. Now, that little dog is very sure of herself and honestly one of the best dogs I ever adopted. Thanks Jenny!"
"Amazing- anyone struggling with their dog should bring them here. We brought our dog to Sue maybe three/four years ago as a last resort. Our sweet dog was getting intolerable as she grew older and stronger. Sue taught many wonderful things (including “place” which saves the poor mail man) and now that our dog is 5 years old and we have a 4 month old puppy, we will definitely be sending our new pup to Sue for the same training. Thank you Sue for teaching Bear (and us) so well! See you soon for the next pup."
"Such an excellent investment made for my dog and myself. My goldendoodle puppy is noticeably better behaved as a result of the training he received at Paw Paws Canine College. Jenny not only provided the initial training, but also provided training to continue on with to strengthen and advance the skills learned. Jenny took wonderful care of my dog while he was with her. I appreciated her professionalism, communication, and expertise for dog training. I would not hesitate to recommend Paw Paws Canine College."
"I cannot recommend Paw Paws Canine College enough! I took my 11 month golden retriever to Jenny and Sue for the board training program. After three weeks with them, my dog was incredibly well behaved. After the initial board train, we went back every month for the follow individual sessions which were enormously helpful for advanced skills. People are always commenting on how well behaved she is. She can be in a long down stay, courtesy when guests come to the door, great on leash, and we're continuing to work on off leash skills. All of this is because of Jenny and Sue. My dog also loved them and was so excited every time we pulled into the driveway. If you're looking for great trainers for your pup, look no further than Paw Paws!"
"Sue has trained several dogs for me over the course of almost 30 years. She is the absolute best person for training your dog and for training you, with a lesson when you pick up the dog and with follow up lessons, if needed, to take care of your trained dog. Dogs love her and respond well to her technique. She is readily available to answer questions and provide advice when you run into issues. I have never had a doggie issue that she could not help me fix. And, I have had lots of doggie issues over the years; housebreaking, chewing, barking, etc. I admit, most of the issues were from me not following her advice to the smallest detail. I used to board my animals with her until I moved to another state. I have never had one animal that did not get excited to see her when I got near her business. My dogs Gini, a Border Collie mix, and Quincy, a Pomeranian, are the best dogs in the whole world. They are sweet, loving, ornery, and sometimes bossy. But, they are also very obedient and I can take them anywhere without worrying about doggie issues. Sue is also a great humanitarian - she rescues animals and places them in homes that are a good fit for the animal as well as the owner. She has helped me truly enjoy the relationships I have had with my dogs. Now that I know the joy a trained dog brings, I would not live with one that was untrained. So, I hope she stays in business the rest of my days. Even though I live in Arizona, now, If and when I need another dog trained, she will be my go to trainer. Thank GOD animals can fly on planes!!"
