"Fantastic coach!!!"
"Love this academy."
"Dear Parents of SSCA and all other cricket enthusiast from North America, here is my experience and review about SSCA: • What kind of Coach does NOT spend any time during the actual match? When I asked, he said, “No, I don’t go for ANY matches as I need personal time”. Whereas look at other academy/team Coaches giving their 100% during the match by standing fulltime in the sun, helping, guiding, coaching kids, and observing players strength/weakness and correcting/improving their skill during the practice. Where is the opportunity for our kids to correct their mistakes and improve in the next game? • What kind of academy/Coach spends time ONLY for practice, NOT on actual match – this is like studying all the syllabus, but NOT appearing for exam, what’s the use? Please look at my practice sessions feedback at the bottom. • As a Coach, he or his asst Coach needs to be present during the matches and assess the conditions to make situational decisions, giving opportunity (bat/bowl/keeping/rotate fielding etc) to ALL kids (NOT based on the seniority in the academy) to know their strength and weakness. • Some parents (including me until I talk to him) assumes that he is going for some other senior teams or ANY other matches, but he told me simply “I’m NOT going for any matches as I need personal time!”. We can’t blame the parent-coach as they CAN’T do much and doing just as a favor. • During matches (U13 Warriors) my son was NOT given equal/fair opportunity to play in the matches, when I asked, he said “he needs to wait for couple years for fair/equal opportunity”, does he NOT collect fees for the first couple years??? When I spoke to multiple parents, they ALL agreed the same pain initially and some going through yet. • I paid all my monthly payments $150 on time (I’ve all screenshots), never been late. When I asked, why was my son denied for opportunity, he said, “NO parents dare to ask me questions like this” and he simply removed me from his WhatsApp group. Is he running a dynasty on his own? • During the match day we drive long and spend the entire day with no opportunity given to the kid – do we look like fools? • Also, the Coach ensures kids learn cricket very slow (over the years) to ensure his steady income. Up to initial 6 months of practice he puts the kids only/mostly on shadow practice for the entire session, what’s the use? • “let the Coach coach” – what if the Coach does NOT? existing SSCA parents please check with your kids how much time he spends on his phone vs actually spending time to coach kids during practice sessions. • My intention to this feedback is to make/force him work/coach at least hereafter for the fee/money that he is collecting from all sorry parents! If you wish/expect your kids to be coached better, feel free to share this with other Academy friends and Groups in North America!"
