Reviews of WHAT'S G00D? (What's Good?)
"Every time I visit here I find a great piece that's exactly what I was looking for, whether it be a funky sweater for winter or the perfect bag or blazer for work. Clearly a lot of care and consideration is put into the curation of the pieces that are sold. You can look forward to a friendly atmosphere and free iced coffee. You also get a reusable tote with your purchase!"
"The owner was super friendly and helpful. They negotiated prices and made a cool atmosphere. Also the coffee was delicious"
"This isn't a thrift store as much as a consignment shop - prices are mostly 20+ with items going into $75+ occasionally. They do have a limited sale rack, but I felt that the owner would lie to make a sale. I bought a future collective dress she called vintage - but future collective is a target brand that was literally formed in 2022. To be vintage an item must be 20+ years old. I have found cute pieces here but use your own judgement on whether an item is worth it to you!"
"I didn't manage to catch the employee's name, but she was so easy to talk to and such a sweetheart, she even gave us $5 discounts on every item we got right off the bat! The vibe inside is very comfortable and they serve free iced coffee daily, and bring in new clothes every Wednesday! They have a really neat rewards program too that offers 10% off, it's hassle-free which is great, because I personally honestly hate having to sit there and give all my info lol. The selection is carefully curated, very trendy and there's something for everyone to love, and everything is way cheaper than I thought. I highly recommend! One of, if not my favorite thrift store I've been to in all of Pgh now."
"Nice little clothing resale shop. Blends in to the building a bit (I'd have missed it if not for the sale board on the sidewalk). The items all seemed to be in good quality (no stains or holes that I was able to spot), and most of what I saw ranged between $20 and $60 (similar to prices I've seen at other resale clothing stores for like items/brands). That said, there's a half-price rack near a back corner, and just behind that is the $5 discount rack. My understanding is that those are a set feature, not just something I lucked into catching. I was offered free coffee (which I declined as I'd just had a drink elsewhere, so I cannot speak to the coffee itself, but free is free), and the lady running the register was very friendly and helpful in explaining the room. We chatted most of the time I was browsing (which I welcomed, and another came in who didn't join in and wasn't pressured to chat, so nothing pushy). I know it comes down to personal taste, but given how small the shop is, and how small that means the sales rack is, I was surprised to find several shirts I liked (for myself and immediate family), and I did spend a bit more than I'd expected I would here. In a good way. I'll be returning periodically in hopes of other nice finds like that. Being resale, finding both something of interest and finding it in your desired size is a bit of a lottery, but I saw a decent range of sizes overall (what I bought was all either L or XL, though I saw all the way down to children sizes in one corner). I definitely recommend dropping in to browse. (Side note, I only spent $20 and I guess that qualified for a small canvas shopping bag, which is surprisingly sturdy and will absolutely be a useful addition. Worth a mention.)"
