"Very nice, I enjoyed it. Havent been there in long time. Several shops were not open, so a little dissapointed, but what shops were there and open were very nice. Great, fresh produce, affordable prices, delicious flavors."
"There are a variety of food vendors, from traditional Breakfast fare to Southern Soul Food, Caribbean, bakeries, Tea vendors and more. There are also vendors with made-to-order arts and crafts, clothing, a seamstress also. A couple vendors have homemade/organic Aromatherapy/Oils and candles. There's organic/homegrown garden-farmed fruits & vegetables, and a local meat market/delicatessen inside as well. It's open until 12pm, and some vendors accept EBT/SNAP as well as electronic payment. Everything IS locally made; these people could be your neighbors, friends, family.VERY friendly! It's like a huge Mom-'N-Pop corner/country store! Best I can say is come try it and see it for yourself. This is ALL ABOUT HAGERSTOWN!"
"I've been going to the City Farmers market every Saturday morning as soon as they open, it was 5:00 for many years it just recently changed about a year ago to 6:00 AM, since I moved to Hagerstown in 1979 this is 40 years. My purpose is to eat breakfast at Jeff and Debbie's Grill very fine breakfast. I've been through 4 owners of that little restaurant. Love the people and the food."
"The people that complained about breakfast prices obviously didn't go to Mama Jean's (about 3 booths down from the entrance door on the right). I try to get in there every Sat, morning and get sandwiches for myself and others at work. If you want a sandwich that is a meal, ask for the "Bryan" it's local butchers sausage, bacon, egg & cheese and quite possibly the best sandwich I've every had. As for the other venders there, some may be a little more than others but all seem like nice personal people and isn't that what it's all about meeting and supporting local farms and businesses and knowing how your food is grown and where it comes from."
"I go here very often to get local honey and produce. The vendors are excellent and extremely professional. Some of the food stalls are overpriced but the quality across the board is fantastic. If you are ever in down town Hagerstown on a Saturday morning I strongly recommend coming to the farmers market."
