Quest Diagnostics Bound Brook

"I just received a call from my husband who was taking our 3 year old to get a Lead Test and was appalled that he was advised by who in assuming is a receptionist that he was 2 minutes late and it's imperative to be on time because the blood has to sit for 20 minutes and they're closing soon. I asked him did she reschedule. Nope. She walked away. That's it. 1) I made the appointment online which doesn't give you a "Lead Test" option and only choice was "other test". No other place to put details 2) No call, email or text reminder to gather said details from Quest Diagnostics. How the hell am I supposed to know what all is entailed for this test? I pulled my child out of daycare for an unpleasant experience far exceeding a needle. I even asked my pediatrician for Quest rather than Labcorp because I thought they would be more professional Evidently NOT!!"

"I agree with previous comments and experienced the same. The tall lady is extremely rude and loud… pls avoid this location if it isn’t the last option. Worst ever experience . Can’t rate negative and hence 1 star."

"Tall Black lady was very rude and condescending! She refuse to honor my appointment because I had my lab paperwork online and claim their email was not working! She did not offer no other options and was very dismissive! Worst customer service ever! I will be contacting corporate!"

"I would strongly advise anyone needing lab work to AVOID this location. Quest has a number in this area to choose among; the one I have used in Bernardsville has always provided excellent service. I went to the Bound Brook location last week for standard blood work (because the Bernardsville location had no openings until mid-afternoon), arriving a few minutes before the noon appointment I had booked online. There's a barebones waiting room with folding chairs and maybe half a dozen folks were sitting there with glum expressions. An employee finally emerged around 12:05 and was eager to let me know that they were running well behind schedule, although they were not short staffed. I asked several times how long I should expect to wait, and she declined to give me an answer, saying only that I would surely be seen at some point since I did have an appointment. I opted to leave, which clearly made the employee relieved. Quest should either up their game at this location or close it - it won't help their brand."

"I had an appointment at the quest in Warren for 1:30. I showed up, did the sign in from my phone then proceeded to the entrance to find it locked. A few other people with appointments showed up too. After I called the main number I was told to sit tight it should not be closed. 40 mins later and another phone call , a really nice woman on the phone got me an appt for the bound Brook location. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Marsha, Joy and Ingrid were so nice and professional and friendly. They turned an unpleasant experience ( at the other location) into a very pleasant one. From now on I will make my appts at the bound Brook location… thanks for making my day better!"
