"Great shop...just picked up a Jamis Renegade C2 about 2 weeks ago, BikeTek was only shop I could find with my frame size, or for that matter a C2 in stock! Called ahead since I am several hours from Pittsburgh and staff (Cory) were super helpful, answered all my questions and held the bike for a few days until I could get out there for a test ride. Awesome experience...and I LOVE the Renegade."
"We decided to switch to e-bikes and wanted to check out the Aventon brand which they have in stock. We walked in and looked around. Someone was at the front desk on the computer. He didn't really offer any help. We went towards the back and Eric, one of the mechanics, asked if he could help. He did indeed help, and we ended up going from one bike to two buying one for both of us. He took us out on the sidewalk. Gave us some pointers. Talked about what was good about the bike and just generally was friendly. That said, he was the reason we bought the bikes. I have to say, the owner of the store, who I think was the person on the computer, needs to improve his customer interface. I read several reviews where they were negative about the person on the computer. And if it hadn't been for Eric, we would have gone elsewhere. You have acknowledge customers, whether you're in the middle of a search for something talking on the phone, a head nod or hand gesture would be appreciated-- something to indicate I see you're here. It's just good service. Luckily you have good mechanics who are friendly and helpful. The store does seem to have everything that riders need and are very friendly for repairs. We'll continue to go there for all our services, but man, I hope you hear the feedback."
"Best buying experience I ever had. The staff could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. I almost made the mistake of buying the wrong bike online. They educated me on what I needed for the type of ride I wanted. I got to feel and demo the bike. I bought two bikes and will never shop or service anywhere else. Thanks Eric!!!"
"Bike, don't walk to this store. Came in to test drive an Aventon, and ended up buying two. They were very patient with me while I hemmed and hawed over what models and why. Frank gave great advice, and Corey helped wrap things up and bring them to my truck. My Aventon Pace 350 and Soltera are *amazing* to ride, a must in this city. Thanks guys!"
"Employees were very helpful and super nice to us. Chris and Eric helped us and explained everything about our bikes. Eric was very helpful with loading them and helping with our new bike rack! Frank worked with us on getting what we wanted and making sure our needs were meant! We appreciate it!"
