American Eagle Store

"The sign outside the store advertised "an ADDITIONAL 60% off clearance". I was going to purchase a sweater marked $19.99 and I assumed I would be getting an ADDITIONAL 60% off the clearance price as advertised on the sign. The manager, a short dark haired guy with glasses, was very rude to me when I asked about it and explained that the advertisement was for an additional 60% off clearance. Made me feel incredibly stupid for asking for the advertised price and refused to honor the sale sign. Disappointing."

"Former AE employee who transferred to this York American Eagle for college and the management is a total disgrace to American Eagle. They do NOT listen to the needs of their employees. Do not work at this American Eagle it is not worth the $7 an hour for the amount of stuff they put you through. They have a terrible employee rate because no one wants to work there for more than a month."

"As a previous employee who worked at this store for 2 years number one DO NOT WORK HERE...MINIMUM WAGE IS NOT WORTH THE EMOTIONAL DAMAGE THEY PUT YOU THROUGH.. Also while you work there you must wear all American Eagle so essentially a good portion of your paycheck will go towards there clothes. Yes this sounds nice until you grow older and realize how basic all of American Eagles clothes are. I went to return the clothes I no longer wear at the store I used to work at and they didn't even take my clothes out of the bag and immediately refused my service because I used to work there. I was discriminated and was told to sell my clothes online.... since I was a previous employee I knew they could accept my return. Im begging you DO NOT SHOP AT THIS SPECIFIC AMERICAN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!"
