"Definitely a no frills spot but our service was great and the food was decent. We unfortunately came right after the lunch special time but it was still pretty good. Got the tofu and vegetables with rice. It wasn’t super sweet like some dishes like this tend to be which I really enjoyed. Definitely want to try some of the rest of their menu. It’s not really meant for dine in but we ate there with our containers. The mooncakes look delicious, definitely want to go back for those!"

"Years ago, there was a small Chinese buffet hole in the wall in Wylie Texas that had the best Chinese food I've ever had, especially the noodles. When they closed down, part of my soul went with it. This place had noodles as good as those, and I felt my soul come back. Drama aside (true as it is though), the food here is genuinely amazing and really hits the spot. I definitely recommend this place."

"Delicious! We loved the orange chicken and the fried dumplings the most. Everything was really good. Large portions for a fair price. Friendly service. Seating was limited but clean and there was a large restroom. Definitely recommended."

"This was my first time ordering from Joy Luck House and I want to start off by saying that the flavors were there but the preparation was not where I'm used to it being on some items. We are big fans of scallion pancakes in my house and these were greasy and very flimsy. The same could be said for our pan fried dumplings. These were the two items that were tasty but not really prepared well. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable lo mein, and pork fried rice which were all prepared well and tasted very good. I will be giving Joy Luck House another chance down the road and hoping for a better batch of pancakes and dumplings."
