"The computers in the library haven’t been updated with new software in years. Many computer systems break (eg the system for getting a student ID card was down, the system to buy a book from the campus bookstore was down, etc.). Their IT infrastructure is garbage. And the continuing education courses are wildly overpriced. The saving grace is some of the professors are amazing, hard-working people."

"The biggest issue with this school is their staff. Jesus Christ are the workers here disrespectful. I've counted at least three different times when I've asked Montgomery College staff for help and they either rolled their eyes at reasonable questions or gave me lip about what I was asking. For example, not too long ago I was on the phone with a staff member asking if a certain class I needed to take was available. I told her I was looking at the class schedule and couldn't see it and she said she could, which I found odd. I then asked her if she was sure she was looking at the correct class, which is a normal question to ask, but instead of replying cordially she said "Umm yea, I believe I just reiterated that twice now" I mean how hard is it to answer a students question without that rude attitude? Additional issues with this school is their incompetent IT desk, which can't even help you solve a glitch with your outlook email and many of the teachers here are also very irreverent. This school has MASSIVE improvement to do."

"What a waste. The Department of Biology gives biology laboratory students one hour and 15 minutes to finish a test then you get to go home or to your next class. Regardless of class being 1 hour and 50 minutes. The test had 31 tough questions. I had to rush through the test, and I failed because I didn't have any more time to finish it. Is it fair that the Dept. Of Biology take away 45 minutes of your laboratory time? They need to change this 1 hour and 15 minutes Biology test time limit rule."

"Most incompetent IT department out of all colleges I've ever attended. You can't access their internal portal because someone doesn't know how to properly configure F5 firewalls. You can't access email, Blackboard, or even see schedule of classes because access is always denied."

"MC changed my life. When I was in high school I got average grades, and had a GPA of 2.9 Thanks to MC I will be applying to several Ivy leagues and will hopefully be in new york next semester I have a 4.0 thanks to the challenges they provide me and I feel like I grew considerably. Every class makes a difference, if you're here, send your kids here. Best decision of my life."
