"I only gave this university 3 stars because I obtained a Master’s of Healthcare Administration from here and I had a great experience. This is primarily because I thrive with independent study. I did the required reading, research, and learning necessary to understand and grasp the content. I do feel that I learned a lot when obtaining that degree. HOWEVER, because of my positive experience with my MHA, I decided to go back for a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a concentration as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and my experience was TERRIBLE. I was fine with the independent study, but when it came time for me to begin my clinical rotations, I could NOT secure a preceptor. This was not due to lack of effort on my part, but the university was ZERO help and it honestly seemed like they just didn’t care. I had only 4 courses left to complete my degree (all clinical) and sat out of school for a YEAR because I could not find placement. I finally just gave up and ended up attending a brick and mortar school nearby since they guaranteed to place students for clinicals. For continuing education with strictly online coursework, I would recommend Walden, but I would stay FAR AWAY from ANY if their nursing programs!"

"Hi everyone I am currently attending Walden University for my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. I know this degree from Walden University will help get to where I want to be in life. From their enrollment specialists to their live agent support staff and more. They helped me get registered for classes, get books and more. Also, their online portal was easy to navigate to complete my classes. I recommend Walden University to anyone searching to get their degree online."

"Walden University has been an exceptional experience for me as I have pursued both my master's and doctoral programs at the institution. Throughout my time there, I have had the opportunity to learn from highly qualified instructors who possess the necessary expertise to effectively teach the courses. While no place is without its flaws, Walden University's long-standing presence in the academic landscape and its impressive roster of successful alumni is worth noting. However, it is important to acknowledge that some students may attribute their struggles with online courses to the institution, when in reality, it may be a reflection of their own suitability for this mode of education. Always, two sides to a story, but let us be fair. Dr. Lakecia :)"

"I will not recommend this school to anyone. Not a healthy institution to school. A poor educational environment where instructors are childish, immature, and give good grades to those they like and bad to those they don't. There is poor oversight of instructors. Lack of objectivity in evaluations and low quality students. I will never recommend this school to anyone"

"This university’s customer service is the epitome of nonexistent and their financial aid department is a joke! You have to wait three days to speak with a financial aid representative if your question is beyond the scope of the person answering your call, how ridiculous is that for a financial aid department? The person in advising most likely doesn’t know any answers to your questions and you’ll never speak with your student advisor no matter how many voicemails are left or emails. Oh and good luck reaching a supervisor, unbelievable! STUDENT BEWARE!!"
