Reviews of Bryan Animal Hospital
"My cat passed away a week after surgery . I didn't have her spayed at Bryan's . But they were kind and my cat got creamated. I got a sympathy card in mail."
"When I moved back i was so happy there was a vet rite around the corner. After going here I started to think they are more about the money. I've worked at a shelter and know that things should not cost as much as this place charges. They could try to make it more affordable for people and be more about the animals. I ended up going back to my old vet in Berlin NJ. If it wasn't for how expensive this place was I would have stayed because the staff was so kind."
"We had a bit of emergency with our cat getting into flower bouquet with some type of lilies in them we got as present. They didn't have doctor who could look at our cat that time but were able to refer us to poison control and even informed us about 24 hours vets around the areas in case it was real emergency. It turned out to be false alarm(was type of false lily) but we are glad we were able to take immediate action thanks to them. We also had an old doggo, who was having severe heart murmur and could not be operated on, grow a large painful tumor that grew out of control over course of few months. They were kind enough to make the tough call on behalf of us after trying several things to help her. If they didn't make the call, I would've had such a hard time letting go of her while she's suffering so much. They're very compassionate about our animals and the people who takes care of the animals"
"The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I have been coming for about a year now, and did feel a little taken advantage of overall with my most recent visit. I was slightly overdue for my cat's rabies vaccine. They called and said if I didn't schedule an appointment for a wellness check and the rabies shot, they could no longer prescribe a specific type of food she needs. I understood and made an appointment for what I assumed was a simple wellness check. I left paying $470, mostly in tests that I wasn't aware were part of this check-up or that had such a steep cost. This included a $68 fee just for being seen, $240 in blood work, and $57 for a stool sample. Keep in mind, I do not have pet insurance, so this could vary by person. I did both blood work and stool samples the previous year because my cat is older and was newly indoors, but did not realize it was supposed to be a yearly occurrence and did not remember pricing from last year. I did not even bring a stool sample (because, as I mentioned, I did not realize it was a part of a wellness check), but was still charged and given a tube to bring back stool. When taking blood, I was just told it happens every year, but was not formally asked or informed about the prices. Side note, I called back afterwards and asked the stool sample to be removed from the bill because I did not ask for it, and they quickly and kindly obliged. Ultimately, I appreciate the friendly manner and can tell they really care about my pet. That being said, I really feel they should give proper warning to customers before administering/charging for tests, especially during annual check-ups when the pet isn't showing symptoms of being sick."
"Eazy is happy and healthy and that is all I need to know that we have found the right vets office. We started coming here during covid. The staff made us feel so comfortable we stuck around."
