"This location used to be a prime place to shop. Now, it’s barely stocked, you can’t find anyone the workers, and the checkout process is beyond ridiculous as well as insulting."

"Lately, I caught myself thinking that I would prefer to go to Harris Teeter Bowie because the people up front at the registers seem to have gotten their act together and I know that I will get rung up fast and they won't keep me waiting at self-checkout for long like Giant across the street does, Giant is abysmal at checkout, Giant wastes a lot of customer time waiting for associates to stop socially talking to each other to help customers waiting-and-waiting, Giant does that incessantly, I wont step foot in Giant's doors, I am loyal Harris Teeter customer. Harris Teeter has great sales (not so great regular prices), club card ecoupons, gas discounts. I don't know what to think of the pharmacy, all I got was a test there a long while back and it was easily discernable that the pharmacist was clearly not happy about it so I just never used their pharmacy after that; he was super busy, by himself, stressed out. Anytime you find yourself thinking that you can go to a certain store and you can count in them getting you out the door in timely manner, and like they care that they are helping you, that's a place to be loyal to, that's the current staff at Harris Teeter Bowie."

"I ordered a cake for a small baby shower for a coworker and can I just say how amazing it turned out! It turned out absolutely beautiful, whoever decorated it is very very talented! I don’t even want to eat it because it’s so adorable!"

I've been coming here for years and have never seen this section so thoughtfully put together. Update: Still 5 stars especially during these economic times. I love how they carefully and thoughtfully put effort into their produce section."
