"The place looked empty and the man cashier was sitting on the photo desk playing on his phone. Never have what I need. I had to wait until the guy realized I was waiting to be checked out...I had to finally say excuse me and his reply was oh I didn't see you there... Guess not"
"Thank you to the pharmacist (Jennifer, I believe) who took extra time, which was busy before lunch, to patiently counsel me on the proper administration of the MMR and Hep B vaccine -- it saved me so much aggravation by not having to come back in 10 days if the proper protocol was not followed. Also, she saved me a trip back for the Flu vaccine. Also, thank you to the tech who patiently managed my expectations at the drop-off window. I am constantly amazed by the command necessary to be patient with people arriving in several directions-- a great experience."
"I placed an order online for store pick up but I decided to give the store a call just to make sure the order went through on their end since it was the first time doing so. According to the gentleman, Jim, on the phone, my order was not showing up on their end. Having worked in retail before (including Rite Aid) I asked to come in if it helped to show them my order. Once in store, I was explained how they were having issues with their order system, which I can understand as I know not everything goes as it should all the time. Jim and Brianna were able to fulfill my order and Jim was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks so much for the help as I really appreciate being able to get the items I needed!"
"So Today 4/20/23 I went to this location after I had to take my 2 infants to the hospital that sent prescriptions for my infant’s breathing, I get there at 1:28pm at the drive through with my infants in the car no one came to the window until they shut the inside gate she then tells me that they are closed for lunch break until 2 so I said “Ms Look I have my infants in the car here with me I made it here before 130 what am I supposed to do” she then told me she didn’t care and turned away from me, so I had to park and take my infants out of the car to wait in the store until a store manager asked me what was wrong and she went back into the pharmacy and got my Infants meds so they could breath. I would never treat anyone with children with a medical issue that way."
"I used to work at the Rite Aid on Morrell plaza for about 2 years, and was working as a shift manager. I would have never acted as unprofessional as the cashier AND the shift manager acted towards me today. I went to this Rite Aid location around 12 pm today where these two older Caucasian women were working. I simply asked the cashier for two 10’s in exchange for a 20, and she was visibly annoyed and said “I can’t open the drawer.” I asked “can you please call the manager up to the front to help?” She responded “She’s in the back.” I repeated, “Can you please call her up to the front?” The cashier sighs and walks to the aisle (she wasn’t even in the backroom), and I follow beside her. The cashier tells the “manager” “This girl wants 2 10s and I told her I need you to open the drawer.” The shift manager is on the floor stocking and says while visibly annoyed as well, “well technically I’m not supposed to open the drawer.” I said “I used to work at rite aid as a shift manager and managers would give change to people all the time.” She sighs loudly, doesn’t say anything and continues to stock. I told both of them they’re being unprofessional could’ve been nicer about it and left to Wawa, where a cashier HAPPILY gave me change. I worked at multiple rite aids (Woodhaven, Linden) and we always would give customers change if they asked. Even if they weren’t allowed to give me change, they could’ve told me NICELY and I would’ve understood. It’s their attitude and lack of customer service that made me write this long review now…it doesn’t cost a dime to SMILE or say “I’m sorry unfortunately I’m not able to open the register.” I wouldn’t have ever acted that way towards friendly customers who simply wanted change."
