Extended Stay America - Washington, D.C. - Landover

"Okay so let's talk about the difference between expectations vs reality. I'm born and raised in the DMV area. So I'm very familiar with how we get down. Public reviews is this is a ghetto hotel. But if you read the reviews, most of the negative reviews are very personal. I didn't know what to expect when I got here. It's been about a week and I must say I'm very comfortable. I got my own bed, the shower pressure is perfect. My own bathroom, refrigerator, stove sink. In fact, the idea was to stay here until i found my own apartment. I think I may have found it. I can't place your priorities for you. But for me, I got everything I need staying here. Hopefully it lasts the whole stay"

"I stayed here a couple of times mostly because of the price but with that said, it's been a positive experience. This stay was for the Eagles/Commanders game. Conveniently, located near the Metro and some restaurants (3 block). 30 min walk from FedX field. The rooms have always been clean and are huge. Plenty of parking on site. (Free) Huge refrigerator with plenty of counter space. Good lighting but no phone chargers. I felt very safe at this location. The front desk staff were friendly but lack communication about the hotel, such as, Wireless password, continental breakfast and what was around its location. I would recommend it because its reasonably priced and a clean hotel with the convenience to the Metro to travel to DC."

"The general outlook of my room was acceptable. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Kitchen area and bed were on point ☝️. The room originally assigned to me had a minor issue with the Tv, and the manager was kind enough to change the room with an apology. I enjoyed my stay."
